My next Hypnobirthing course is for parents expecting twins.

The course starts on Thursday 16th Feb at 6.30 at the Tree of Life centre in Hove and runs over 4 consecutive weeks.

New course dates and availability

Hypnobirthing~ Thursdays 6.30-9pm at the Tree of Life, Hove starting on February 16th and running over 4 consecutive weeks.

Compassionate Mindful Resilience (CMR) course starts on Saturday 4th March at 10am-12pm at the Tree of Life, Hove

Private Hypnobirthing and Mindfulness courses can be run at times and dates to suit you. If you fancy a tailor made course please let me know.

I also run mindfulness courses for businesses. Do you have an idea for a training day? I am running a session on mindful resilience in the work place for a small business in May. Let’s chat about how we can work together.

I am taking on new Life Coaching and Hypnotherapy clients and have appointments available in February. If you need some support please get in touch. I offer free consultations.

Sitting here looking out the window at the beautiful blue sky I feel a sense of peace and ease. I feel grateful for the weather, all of it! Even the rain and wind, thunder and lightening.
The weather is a good reminder that nothing is permanent.

🧠 ‘Our brains are bombarded by the equivalent of 40gb of incoming info every day!!!! An average HD movie consists of 3-4gb!!!!’ Dr Shauna Shapiro PhD

🧠 That is a lot to absorb!!!

🧠 In order to give my brain a break I punctuate my day with short, mindful breaks. Feeling my feet on the ground and my breath in my body. This is a great way to reset and start again.

I was just coaching a client and we took a deep dive into his unconscious thoughts, behaviours and emotions. The answer to changing his limiting beliefs was simple, it often is.

Self Love or self criticism

How many of you look at your photo and think positive thoughts about yourself?

How many of you look in the mirror and think or say kind things about yourself and motivate yourself for the day ahead?

I am away on a mini break with my oldest friends who I love so very dearly. Each and every one of them beautiful and bad ass.

But…..each and everyone of them critical about their own photos. They don’t see themselves the way I do.

We look at ourselves everyday. With mobile phones, FaceTime, snap chat, insta we often see ourselves several times a day. Zooming in on our perceived imperfections. Seeing ourselves through a critical lense.

What’s that all about!!!

I could easily look at my photo and pick at my faults.
But I refuse to allow my self criticism to win.

I am 50 and proud of the way I look. I have lines, sun damage, wobbly bits in places I didn’t have them in before . Every line a memory of fun, and tricky, times. Every wobble and stretch mark a reminder of the strength my body has given me. I have given birth to two amazing babies after all!

So every time you look at a photo or look in the mirror notice how you speak to yourself and switch the narrative.

Repetition is the way to change your neural pathways.

Champion yourselves 💪
Accept yourself as you are.
