What a fab day....
The rain and fog didn't bother us!!

Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund our members travelled to the historic Haddon Hall for their Christmas Mercatum.

A stunningly decorated house and lots of lovely stalls, we even had a Robin singing its little heart out.🎄🎅❤️

And as always good company and lots of laughs...🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

On my own journey to mental well-being, I created a few tools to help me, one of which was writing poems about how I was feeling. I had never written poems before and I confess at school my written work left much to be desired. But like many things in my life now, I do it with passion because it helps me.

Walking has also been a huge part and the two are often combined as my poetry comes to me while out walking, clearing my head.

Well, today was a momentous day as I completed the step I started 2 years ago and a proof copy of my own little book of poetry landed on my doormat.

It is a very personal book that takes you on my journey to personal freedom and a clearer mind and acceptance of who I am.

The reason I started Your Time Believe Belong Become CIC over 3yrs ago was to share the things I had learned on my own journey.

It took a long time to write and I had given up on it 2 years ago.
My negative narrative told me it was too hard, no one would read them, you're too busy, who do you think you are?

I often ask my members if is it just lip service or do they actually want what they keep telling themselves. No matter what it is, are they prepared to put in the hard work it takes to achieve?

My support word for 2025 is "Thrive" not just survive and I didn't want this book to be one of the things I never put the work in for.

So, unbelievably very soon it will be on Amazon to buy.
It is a raw account and probably not grammatically correct or the best punctuation, but I am proud I didn't give up and even if no one buys it. I did it for ME!

Did you know that as part of a Your Time membership, we not only offer our weekly well-being support sessions, but also the opportunity to participate in various activities when funding allows, to further support your well-being.

Last week, our members took part in our last funded activity of 2025, thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund, and Mansfield Building Society Community Grants.

A wonderful "Christmas Wreath Workshop" with the lovely Natalie Goudge from La Fille Creative.

It was lovely to take time out to be creative and gift ourselves "the present", as thoughts of our life stresses were paused for a while.
