On Monday 23rd February, Performing Arts Vision Care was delighted to be at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) for our *Visual Health in Performing Arts* workshop and clinic.
We delivered the workshop alongside Dr Naomi Norton — Musicians’ Health and Wellness Coordinator and MHW Group Chair at the University of York, an accomplished violinist with Leeds Symphony Orchestra, and a passionate advocate for musicians’ health and wellbeing.
Together, Abigayle, Sheryl and Naomi led a morning session exploring the visual health challenges musicians face, followed by a visual health clinic where Sheryl and Abigayle met with RNCM students to discuss a wide range of individual concerns. We’ve already received some really positive feedback, and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many talented performers. Thank you, RNCM.
