On behalf of the family, we announce the passing of Bennie Brearley.

BREARLEY, Bennie. On 1st April 2026, peacefully at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary aged 87 years, of Milnsbridge.
Beloved husband of Anne. Dear dad of Toni and Les. Grandad and great grandad.
A small family and friends service will be held at Huddersfield Crematorium on Tuesday 5th May at 11.15am followed by a joyful celebration of his life at the Holy Trinity Church at 12.30pm for which all will be welcomed.
The family request that no mourning clothing to be worn but colourful ties will be appreciated. Donations in lieu of flowers to be made to Christians Against Poverty for which a box will be available at the church.

We are also pleased to share that two more fish have already been named… welcome Tweedledum and Tweedledee 🐟

A special way to remember someone, while supporting a good cause 🤍

We currently have 7 fish available to be named in memory of a loved one. With a £25 donation to Prostate Cancer UK. You will also receive a certificate along with a photo of your chosen fish to keep.

This tribute lasts for one year, and we will repeat it again next year with new names and a new charity.

On behalf of the family, we announce the passing of Barry Hughes.

HUGHES, Barry Westerby. on 25th March 2026, peacefully at Kirkwood Hospice, surrounded by his family, aged 87 years, of Kirkburton.
Dearly loved and cherished dad of Andrea, Caroline and Liz. Dear step dad of Andrew and a treasured grandad of Robbie, Holly, Bradley, Grace, Ellie-Mae, Amy and Lewis. A loving great grandad of Freddie and Oliver.
A celebration of his life will be held at Huddersfield Crematorium on Monday 13th April at 9.30am. Donations in lieu of flowers to The British Heart Foundations and Kirkwood Hospice, for which a box will be available.

Tubby is one of our much-loved residents, gently gliding around and bringing a calm, comforting presence. He is just one of 7 fish available to be named in memory of someone special.

We are inviting people to dedicate a fish with a £25 donation to charity, and this year we are proud to be supporting Prostate Cancer UK.

Each dedication lasts for a year, and you will receive a certificate along with a photo of your chosen fish as a lasting keepsake. Next year, we will do it all again with new names and a new chosen charity.

BEEVER, Shirley. Peacefully on 4th March 2026, at Longwood Grange Care Home, aged 90 years, formerly of Golcar.
Loving wife of Jock. Much loved mum of Julie, Shaun and Mark. Loving nanna, great grandma and great great grandma. Friend to many.
