The VMO (Vastus Medialis Oblique) isn’t a separate muscle you can switch on with a magic exercise.
It’s part of the quadriceps group;
Vastus Medialis
Vastus Lateralis
Vastus Intermedius
and Re**us Femoris
They work together.
You can’t truly isolate one and ignore the others.
And you don’t need to.
If your knee’s sore, focus on building overall quad strength and managing load properly.
That’s what changes things long term.
