We have developed a reputation for diverse, inventive responses to the changing outlook of mental health service delivery.

We are an independent mental health and wellbeing charity, offering a wide range of FREE opportunities for people to get creative, learn new skills, improve their wellbeing and discover the great outdoors. S2R Create Space is a local mental health and well-being charity providing a range of creative, outdoors and well-being sessions and events for the people in Kirklees for over twenty years. S2R Create Space recognizes personal individuality, choice and abilities, by introducing different engaging elements and themes of involvement, individuals are in control of their participation, and can plan and set their own goals and outcomes.

THE MONTHLY UPLIFT 💗

Join us on Thursday 2nd April from 1 - 3pm for this gentle and creative monthly meet-up. This time, we’ll be looking at zines, which are handmade books, pamphlets and comics, often made to share personal experiences. Everyone is welcome! To book your place, email us at contact@s2r.org.uk

Dewsbury Repair Café 🛠

Come along to this month's Repair Café session this Saturday (the 28th March) from 10am - 12:00noon at The 3 Strand Café , The Princess of Wales Precinct, Dewsbury WF13 1NH. Bring your broken or faulty items along to be fixed, learn how to repair common household items, reduce landfill waste and save money!

Bird Box Making Workshop 🐦

Come along to our 2-week Bird Box Making Workshop on Thursday 26th March and Thursday 2nd April from 1 - 3pm and learn how to use hand tools and upcycle wood into your very own bird box. We will discover which bird species enjoy which style of box and how and where to install them.

Join us for this creative evening workshop and make a beautiful wreath from scratch, using natural materials and colourful spring flowers to create a cheerful seasonal decoration for your home.

Come and join us for our TGO Spring Get Together on Wednesday 18th March from 11am - 2pm at our Cemetery Road Allotment in Birkby 🌱☀️

We will be celebrating the start of spring by making bee hotels, sharing wildlife information, giving tours of the allotment and serving up a delicious spring vegetable soup too. Plus you can find out more about TGO, S2R and the vison for the allotment in 2026.
