What is your spring scent?

Our scent preferences change with the seasons…

From dark colours, rich, spicy scents and warm comforting foods, we find our preferences change to brighter colours, lighter, fresher, floral scents as spring approaches….

Our spring scent recommendations…..

- Harmony - This beautiful floral blend with jasmine, lavender, peony and rose 💕

- Aileen - All ingredients from the orange blossom tree….the leaves and twigs (Petitgrain), the blossom (Neroli) and the fruit (Orange) 💕

- Verbena - Lemon Verbena 💕

Another inspirational event organised by Mel at to raise funds for The Danny Jones Defibrillator Fund - has shown amazing courage throughout the years and the charity has helped thousands of people and many many lives have been saved as a result of their work 💕

We were happy to play just a tiny part in the amazing Under The Stars Event last weekend…..it was great to set up our scent machines in the amazing venue before people arrived and fill all the goody bags with one of our candles.

Well done to who raised well over a million pounds to help children across Yorkshire 💕 and for hosting the event.

and made the room look stunning 💕

Next week is a big week for Snug 😍

We are having another lab day and will soon be bringing you some exciting new products - all natural - eco friendly.

As a brand that started as an aromatherapy home fragrance brand, we have evolved and adapted over the years and in late 2024, introduced our eco cleaning range……we are blown away by how many of you love this product, not just for the beautiful scents, but for how well it performs….

We have decided to extend this range and will be busy working in the lab with our chemist next week 😍

There are also other changes coming up…..exciting ones for sure…will keep you posted as they develop 😍

Ahead of International Women’s Day (as I am busy exhibiting all weekend), I would like say a thank you 💕

As the youngest of 8 children, I was raised by a strong, resilient woman, who didn’t always have it easy but was a wonderful mum and taught me so much.

I am lucky to have lots of strong women around me on a daily basis, whether it is supporting my business or to offer me love, comfort and a listening ear when I need it.

I didn’t set out to be an entrepreneur. I simply started making aromatherapy products for my own wellbeing but what started as a hobby, grew into a business. I am proud of what I have achieved and am thankful for the women who have helped me along the way 🙏🏻💕.

Today is Cat Day in Japan so thought I would introduce you to the Snug feline team.

We have two rather large Main C**n cats: Gin, who is 8 and the pictures show him as a kitten and as he has grown - and Eleisa who is Gin’s mum who we adopted.

Our cats are part of our family and have huge characters

Cats have played a role in Japanese life for over a thousand years - and were prized animals, kept in temples and aristocratic homes to protect valuable silk scrolls and rice stores from mice.

Over time, cats became more common household companions.

Cats, like dogs, can be sensitive to harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrance and can benefit from certain essential oils around the home, particularly if they are distressed due to a house move or fireworks.

I would recommend chamomile essential oil and valerian - both these oils provide comfort to your feline friend.
