I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our lovely residents, family, friends and staff a happy new year! This year has been full of love and laughter! There have been ups and downs and we come together as a home to conquer all! Im am grateful for all of your support. Our job is not the easiest at all but together we make Alderlea a home! Out with the old and in with the new! Let's see what 2026 brings!

From our house to yours, we’d like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year 🥂✨
As we step into a new year, we also take a moment to remember those who are sadly no longer with us. They are forever in our hearts and lovingly remembered on our memory tree, filled with our wishes, memories, and love.

We want to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you for the continuous support, kindness, and care you’ve shown us throughout the year. It truly means more than words can say.

As we look back on the year, what an amazing one it has been!
From our Valentine’s Dinner to the magician, children’s visits, dinner dances, wonderful singers, choirs, and the fantastic sea shanty singers — we really have enjoyed it all.
Thank you to Claire at Newgrove for participating in our home from home hospitality, helping our residents make new friendships.

We’ve shared so many special moments together, full of laughter, music, and memories. A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make this year so special — our wonderful cooks for the delicious meals, our caring and dedicated care team, and our amazing managers for all the hard work behind the scenes.

We’ve enjoyed party games, celebrations, and finished the year in the best way possible with a fantastic Christmas party, ending on a beautifully cooked Christmas dinner.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our year — here’s to the memories we’ve made and many more to come ❤️🎄

🎄✨ Thank You Everyone! ✨🎄

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our Christmas party. We had an absolutely amazing time, and most importantly our residents truly loved it — with lots of singing, dancing, smiles and laughter all round! 💃🎶

A special thank you to the wonderful AL Brown for the fantastic singing that really got everyone in the Christmas spirit. 🎤✨

Thank you to everyone who kindly donated such marvellous raffle and tombola prizes — your generosity is so appreciated and helped make the day extra special.

We’d also like to thank our Manager Danielle and Deputy Manager Sarah for all their continued support, and a massive thank you to all our colleagues who helped make the day so memorable and ensured our residents had the best time possible. 💙

A big shout-out to Niki and Kelly for their hard work creating the amazing cakes for our cake stall — they were absolutely delicious and went down a treat! 🍰👏

All that’s left to say is a very Merry Christmas to everyone, from all of the Alderlea Team 🎅🎄✨
