Join us at Hungerford Care Home on Friday 13th March 2026 from 2.00pm for a very special visit from Molly Meadows and Friends… and their baa-rilliant sheep! 🐑 Come along for a woolly good time, enjoy plenty of cuddles, and share smiles with our furry, four-legged friends. Ewe won’t want to miss it!

On Friday we celebrated National Croissant Day , what a treat! 🥐

Everyone enjoyed a delicious selection of croissants filled with a variety of tasty fillings, and residents really enjoyed getting together to share the experience. There were lots of smiles, great conversation, and very happy taste buds all around!

Yesterday we celebrated National Pizza Day with a fun and tasty activity! 🍕

Residents got hands-on creating their very own pizzas, with a twist… pizza bagels! From choosing their favourite toppings to enjoying the delicious finished results, everyone had a great time getting involved.

It was a lovely, interactive activity that truly went down a treat and left plenty of smiles all around 😄✨

Country & Western Afternoon Fun! 🎶🤠

We had a fantastic Country & Western afternoon with wonderful live singing entertainment from Mark Jess Roberts – The Singing Keeper ⭐

Our residents were absolutely delighted to see Mark back at the home, singing all their favourite country classics. There was plenty of singing along, smiling faces, and even a bit of dancing! 💃🕺

🌿 Trip Out to Millets Farm 🌿

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful day out at Millets Farm. We started with a delicious lunch in the café, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone

After lunch, we explored the farm shop, taking in the lovely local produce and treating ourselves to some sweet delights from the cake selection 🍰😋

We also spent time browsing the garden centre, enjoying the beautiful plants and displays. It was a fantastic day out, full of smiles and happy memories.

🎶Music-filled afternoon at our care home! 🎶

We had a wonderful time enjoying rock and roll favourites and classical music from the 70s. Using drums, egg shakers, and macaroni, everyone joined in the fun playing along, singing together, and enjoying the rhythm.

It was lovely to see so many smiles, happy memories, and plenty of toe-tapping moments as music brought everyone together. 🥁😊

We were delighted to welcome Marlborough Mobility Shop to our home.

They brought along their cosy feet slippers, and our residents were very happy to have the opportunity to choose and buy their own shoes.

It was a lovely visit and a great experience for everyone involved. 😊👚
