🎶 Armistice Day Remembrance with Jane 🎶

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of singing and entertainment with the lovely Jane, as we came together to honour and remember those who served. ❤️

Everyone proudly wore their poppies, shared smiles, and captured some lovely photos to mark this special day of reflection and gratitude. 🌺

We remember the bravery, sacrifice, and spirit of all who have given so much. Lest we forget.

🐴 What a special Friday!

We were delighted to welcome Happy Hooves Equine Therapy to the home, along with their adorable miniature horse, Vino! 💕

Our residents were overjoyed (and quite surprised!) to see a horse inside the home and they loved every minute of it. 🥰

Sessions like these bring so much joy, comfort, and happiness to everyone. ✨

🔥✨ Bonfire Night Celebrations! ✨🔥

Our residents had a wonderful afternoon celebrating Bonfire Night! 🎆 Although we stayed warm and cosy indoors, everyone enjoyed watching the spectacular fireworks display on TV and tucking into delicious hot dogs 🌭🎇.
A lovely afternoon filled with laughter, good food, and great company! 💛

🐾 Ted the Therapy Dog Brings Smiles to Hungerford Care Home ! 🐾

Residents and staff at Hungerford Care Home were delighted to welcome a very special visitor this week — Ted, the therapy dog!

Ted, a gentle and affectionate Cockapoo, spent the afternoon making his rounds, offering cuddles, wagging his tail, and spreading plenty of smiles. Residents loved reminiscing about their own pets and sharing stories as Ted soaked up all the attention.

Therapy animal visits like Ted’s bring comfort, reduce stress, and encourage social interaction and it was clear that everyone’s spirits were lifted by his calm and friendly presence.

A big thank you to Ted and his handler, Karen, for bringing so much joy to our home. We can’t wait for your next visit! 💛🐶

🎄 A Lovely Day Out at Hillier Garden Centres in Hermitage! 🌿

Our residents had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful Christmas decorations and festive plants. It’s certainly starting to feel like the holidays! ✨🎅

We rounded off the trip with a delicious lunch in the café, the perfect way to enjoy a cosy autumn day together. ❤️

🥐 Baking Club Fun at Hungerford Care Home 🥰

Today’s session was filled with laughter, delicious aromas, and plenty of rolling and folding as our wonderful residents made homemade sausage rolls from scratch! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

From mixing the filling to perfectly crimping the pastry, everyone got hands-on — and of course, the best part was tasting them fresh from the oven! 😋

Nothing brings people together quite like good food and great company. 💛

A huge thank you to our amazing team members who prepared the delicious food, it was truly a feast to remember! 🍛

It was so lovely to see everyone dressed in beautiful traditional clothes, bringing colour, joy, and festive spirit to the home. Both residents and staff were delighted to join in the fun, and the atmosphere was full of smiles, laughter, and togetherness.
