📣 Supporting Our Local GPs Through Education & Collaboration

We were delighted to have Mr Miakhil, Consultant Urologist, host an educational session at a local GP surgery this week.

During the event, Mr Miakhil shared his expertise on managing:
Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS)
BPH Management in Primary Care
Mixed Flora & Sterile Pyuria

Events like these are invaluable in strengthening relationships with our local practices, promoting shared learning, and ensuring patients receive the very best standard of care.

Mr Miakhil is a highly experienced general urologist with specialist expertise in:
• Laser prostatectomy (HoLEP)
• Upper urinary tract laparoscopy
• Complex stone surgery
• BPH surgery
• Transperineal prostate biopsies as part of prostate cancer diagnostics

With his expertise and dedication, Mr Miakhil strives to provide excellent care and treatments to his patients with a wide range of urological conditions.

We were delighted to join The Cedars Care Home in Bourne for a free Women’s Health and Menopause education event. Dr Sara Moran, our Private GP, delivered an excellent and engaging session, sharing her expertise and answering questions from the community. We’re proud to support local initiatives like this and to work in partnership with Cedars Care Home - Barchester Healthcare to bring accessible health information to those who need it.

A big thank you to everyone who attended, and to Dr Moran for her time and knowledge. We look forward to collaborating on more community events in the future.

🎉 A Fantastic Ophthalmology Event at Fitzwilliam Hospital! 👁️

We were delighted to host an excellent hybrid Ophthalmology Education Event here at Fitzwilliam Hospital with our consultants Mr Alan F**t and Mr George Settas, joined by James Newitt from Johnson & Johnson.
The session showcased the outstanding work our ophthalmology team delivers every day, along with the latest innovations in eye care and lens technology.
We were also pleased to have Kathy, our Ophthalmic Nurse, supporting the session and sharing insight into the patient pathway.
