The care home is located in the town centre, close to local amenities and with good transport links. The care staff have built a strong presence in their local community, hosting regular community coffee mornings and events. ✨🌟 Jean and Jean’s wish granted at Ferrars Hall Care Home✨🌟

As part of our Make a Wish initiative, our team organised a trip to London for Jean and Jean to have lunch at The Ivy Collection and then watch Agatha Christie The Mousetrap in their very own private box. They both had a fantastic time and could not stop smiling all day!

Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming The Dementia Friendly Barbers into our home.

Dan truly went above and beyond, showing such kindness, patience and understanding with all of our gentlemen. Each resident was treated with dignity, care and plenty of smiles along the way.

The results were fantastic — and most importantly, all of our gentlemen were very happy with their fresh haircuts and feeling very smart indeed! 😊

Thank you for making it such a special experience. We can’t wait to welcome you back again soon!

🐾 A Very Special Visitor on Monday! 🐾

On Monday, we were delighted to welcome Lilly the PAT dog to our home! 🐶💛

Lilly spent time with our residents, offering plenty of cuddles, gentle paws, and lots of smiles. Animal visits always bring such joy, comfort, and wonderful memories to everyone here — and this week was no exception.

There were wagging tails, happy laughter, and even a few extra treats for our lovely four-legged guest! 🦴

A big thank you to Lilly and her owner, Suzie for brightening our day. We can’t wait to see you again soon! ❤️

We had a fantastic day at Huntingdon Racecourse on Thursday.

Despite the cold and wet weather, we had lots of fun cheering on the horses and even put on a few bets!
