When I went through pregnancy and childbirth, all they said was to do my pelvic floor exercises (Kegels) 3 times a day for the rest of my life.

But did you know Kegels are actually only about 50% effective? And that's if you do them properly, which let's face it, is a bit hard with a group of muscles we've never seen.

And with loads of other things you can do to support this group of muscles, it's insane that we don't have more of this information readily available.

That's why I'm stoked to be publishing my new guide to Stop the Leaks! The guide uses simple language to talk about the muscles which can support the pelvic floor, so that when it comes to dealing with leaks, the whole team (of muscles) can get involved.

I am days away from uploading my new guide to Stop the Leaks! Support Your Pelvic Floor Without Endless Kegels

I'm really excited to get this one out into the world as there is so little information given to new and pregnant mums about the pelvic floor, and Kegels (pelvic floor squeezes) are only about 50% effective.

This guide will look at the muscles which help to support the pelvic floor, creating a 'team effort' to help you feel strong and confident in your body.

Looking to get back into exercise, but experiencing leaks or a diastasis recti?
You are not alone! About 1 in 3 women experience leaks postnatally, and 1 in 3 women have a diastasis 1 year postnatal. This is a major reason why some women don't exercise, or go back to exercise they previously loved.

There's lots we can do to help though! And it's not all about kegals or crunches.

As a corrective exercise specialist, I'm an expert in helping women getting back to doing what they love. I combine these exercising in with postnatal yoga for a truly holistic and efficient experience.

Group sessions are Thursdays 7.20pm in Huntingdon.
