Thank you to our Cadets, Badgers and adult volunteers for their thoughtful and generous donations in our annual Christmas Food Bank Collection.

This year we donated to the Ansary Foundation, based in the centre of Huntington who provide food parcels to support those struggling to afford food.

We are proud to live our motto:

Our thoughts are with the victims of this tragedy, and the first responders working hard to assist.

Avoid the area surrounding Huntingdon Train Station. Anybody in the area should follow the advice of the emergency services.

Stay safe.

We were called at 7.39pm with reports that multiple people had been stabbed on a train.

Armed officers attended and the train was stopped at Huntingdon, where two men were arrested. A number of people have been taken to hospital.

The incident remains ongoing and the A1307 has been closed as you approach the town centre.

Officers are working with British Transport Police, who are leading on the incident, and anyone with any information is urged to report this to us online: https://www.cambs.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/ quoting incident 495 of today (1 November). Call 101 if you do not have internet access.

Kathleen is taking part in a 20-mile walk from Cambridge to Huntingdon in July to raise funds for St John Ambulance. 🥾

Kathleen is a dedicated volunteer Emergency Responder, Youth Leader and Demonstrator whose efforts each week make the difference to the lives of the local community, by providing emergency care at events or training the next generation of lifesavers.

As part of their 'Leadership and Teamwork' subject, our Cadets took part in a simulated Major Incident.

Cadets worked together as a team to triage, treat and evacuate casualties. This is what we do to prepare Cadets with skills for their future careers, all whilst having fun.

We are now taking Cadets for a September 2025 start.
