The Ramsey Memory Support Group is a warm, welcoming community for anyone affected by memory concerns.

The Ramsey Memory Support Group is led by volunteers with the following aims:
• To offer support to residents and their carers dealing with memory related issues
• To offer inclusive social activities relevant to people with memory problems This includes people living with memory loss, carers, family members, friends, and anyone who simply feels they would benefit from a relaxed, supportive space. We are a volunteer-led group focused on connection, kindness, and wellbeing. Music plays an important role in what we do, helping people feel at ease, spark memories, and enjoy shared moments together. From time to time, visitors from organisations such as Age UK or other local services may join us and be available to chat if someone would like support or guidance. This is not a formal service and doesn’t happen at every session, but support is there when it’s needed. There is no pressure, no expectations, and no judgement — just a friendly space to come together, feel welcomed, and enjoy a moment of calm connection.

Our monthly Singing Cafe is a safe space to:

Yesterday’s Ramsey Memory Support Group meeting was a gentle reminder of why this community means so much.

It was truly lovely to welcome back familiar faces — people who continue to show up, support one another, and share this space with such kindness.
Alongside them, it was heart-warming to see so many new faces joining us for the first time. We’re so grateful to each of you for being there.

The room felt calm and caring, filled with quiet conversations, shared understanding, and the comfort of being among people who simply “get it.” Whether you’ve been attending for a while or yesterday was your first visit, your presence truly mattered.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to our wonderful volunteers, whose time, compassion, and dedication make these meetings possible. Your kindness is at the heart of everything we do.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks our visitors and for their support. Your help and involvement are greatly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday.
