It is with sadness that the death is announced of Frank W R Smith, aged 90 years, peacefully at Alexander Scott’s Eventide Home, Huntly on Monday, January 26 2026. Husband of the late Norma Horn, dad of David and Linda, granda to Gavin, Nadya, Jake and Katy, a brother and uncle and fondly remembered by many of all ages as a friend and great companion at social and sporting events. Funeral service at Ian Esslemont Funeral Directors, 3 Chapel Street, Huntly on Monday, February 9 at 2pm. All friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if so desired may be given at the chapel door in aid of Marie Curie nurses.

Special thanks to all at ARI and Rothieden for their dedicated care and attention to Bob and his family, to Huntly community nurses, to Rev Elspeth Mckay for her comforting service, you captured Bob perfectly, to Lotus Petal Flowers for the beautiful floral tributes, to Huntly Golf Club for the most welcoming teas and to Ian, Ria and Linda at Ian Esslemont Funeral Directors for their dignified and compassionate arrangements.
