It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, surrounded with love, at Edinburgh Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, Brooke Emma Kewley, aged 8 years, loving daughter of Ewan and Gill, fun loving sister to Murdo and Harley dog, much loved granddaughter, great-granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. A Celebration of Brooke’s life will be held in the Banff Springs Hotel, Banff on Monday, April 13 at 11am thereafter to Myrus Cemetery. All welcome. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, may be given at service in aid of the Critical Care Unit RHCYP Edinburgh and the Oncology/Haematology ward RACH.

Janice, John and their families would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy extended to them by way of cards, calls, messages and flowers received on the sad passing of their dad Ian. Special thanks to Rothieden Hospital and the community carer team for the exceptional care and attention given to Ian, and his family in his last few weeks. Sincere thanks to Ian Esslemont Funeral Directors for their most dignified and compassionate arrangements. Thanks to the Rev. Elspeth McKay for her comforting service, to Jenny Stewart for the music, to Lotus Petals for the lovely floral arrangements and to Fiona Forrest and staff for the welcoming teas. Finally, to all who paid their last respects at the Church and graveside and who generously donated £750 to Friends of Jubilee Hospital. Ian will be sadly missed.

Nicola and her family would like to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues for the numerous kind expressions of sympathy extended to them by way of cards, calls, messages and flowers following the sad passing of Brian. Special thanks to Roxburghe House, Huntly Health Centre and community nurses for the care and attention given to him (and his family) – it was second to none. To Janet Donnelly for her beautiful and fitting ceremony, to St Rufus Church for allowing the ceremony to be held in their beautiful church, to Lotus Petals for the magnificent floral tributes, and to Spud the Piper for his wonderful piping. Sincere thanks to Ian Esslemont Funeral Directors for making Brian’s arrangements personal to him and thinking outside the box, it went so well. Finally, to the many who came to show their respects at the church and generously donated £ 2581.30 to Friends of Jubilee Hospital. Brian is already so sadly missed.
