We offer a Direct Cremation (sometimes referred to as a pure cremation) at a fixed price of £1350 and we carry out all services locally in Tameside.

What is included?
-Collection of your loved one and transfer to our funeral home in Hyde, Tameside
-Care for your loved one from collection to the hand-delivery of their ashes
-Viewing of your loved one by appointment, should you desire within office hours
-Administration and legalities
-Crematorium fees
-A basic coffin
-A standard urn for your ashes.
-Local hand-delivery of ashes within Tameside and surrounding areas or collection from our funeral home in Hyde.

An unusual mode of transport for a funeral this week. This was made even more personal and special as it was also driven by the late gentleman’s son. The sun was shining and the family celebrated his life in a unique way.

On January 18th 2026, Mary, of Dukinfield passed away peacefully in hospital aged 74 years. She leaves her loving family and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Service and committal to be held at Dukinfield crematorium on Friday 20th February at 11:30 am .

DAVID HACKNEY
On January 23rd 2026, David of Hyde passed away peacefully in Willow Wood Hospice aged 75 years. A dearly loved Husband to Deirdre and a much loved father, father-in-law and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Service and committal to be held at Dukinfield Crematorium on Thursday 12th February at 1:30 pm. Family flowers only please and donations if desired can be made in David’s memory to Willow Wood Hospice.
