Bloom At Leap Bloom at LEAP is a unique allotment based daycare service, designed specifically for adults with a learning difficulty who enjoy gardening and being outdoors.

Greenscape - provides meaningful work opportunities for local people who face challenges which can place them furthest away from the job market. As an established Social enterprise, Greenscape donates its surplus income to support the community-based charitable activities of St Peter’s Partnerships (Leap). We support people to develop their confidence, skills and self-worth through volunteering and paid work within a fair, well supervised and respectful environment. Greenscape was the first landscape Organisation recognised by Tameside Council's ‘Buy With Confidence Scheme’

What can we do for you? Greenscape currently provides a wide range of professionally led environmental services to both Commercial and Private clients throughout Tameside, Greater Manchester and the North West region. We are competitively priced and can offer you a bespoke package to suit your requirements. Services include grounds maintenance, soft and hard landscaping, fencing, paving, weed control, void properties and site clearances.

🌱 Volunteer Opportunity – Nature Buddies 🌱

We are looking for a volunteer to support LEAP’s popular Dads and Children’s project – Nature Buddies at Meadow Lane Allotment, Dukinfield.

🕘 Saturdays | 9.00am – 12.30pm

This rewarding role involves supporting the session lead with:
• Setting up activities on the allotment
• Welcoming families and helping everyone feel comfortable
• Making drinks and helping during the session (10–12)
• Lending a hand where needed
• Tidying up and other light duties after the session

If you enjoy being outdoors, connecting with nature and supporting children and families, this could be the perfect volunteer role for you.

✅ Training provided
✅ DBS provided
✅ Travel expenses covered

This is also a great opportunity for anyone completing the Duke of Edinburgh Award, King’s Trust Award, or anyone looking for a meaningful volunteer role in the community.

A huge thank you to our friends at Timberland. Colin and his amazing colleagues spent another fantastic day supporting Bloom At Leap 🌿

The 11-strong team have done an incredible job building two large raised flower beds and a new shelter where we can admire the garden whatever the weather. Their continued support has made a huge difference to all of us at LEAP, and we are incredibly grateful.

Corporate social responsibility clearly means a great deal to Timberland and its dedicated staff, and their commitment to supporting community projects really shows.

💚LEAP is looking for an exceptional Preschool Manager to lead our Preschool Nursery in Ashton-under-Lyne.

💚This term-time position offers the opportunity to manage and support a small team of four staff while working directly with children as a keyworker. Alongside time in the room, you will have dedicated time to focus on quality, staff development, and ensuring we continue to provide a safe, inclusive and caring setting where every child can thrive.

💚Minimum Level 3 childcare qualification and early years leadership experience required.

We also celebrated Darren’s birthday — happy birthday, Darren! 🎉

There are signs of spring everywhere now, with flowers starting to pop up around the allotments 🌸 It’s such a lovely reminder that brighter days are on the way.

🌻A great day all round at BLOOM! 🌻

🥞We celebrated Pancake Day, prepped the corned beef hash, and sorted out the bird feeders.

We also organised the nets and, to keep warm, enjoyed some games in the shed. 🎲

💚Plenty of laughs and teamwork throughout the day!
