Huge thank you for all my lovely; texts, emails, phone calls, cards and gifts.
The clinic has meant the world to me and I have always tried my best to treat my patients/ clients with genuine care and compassion. Many of whom have experienced great struggles physically and mentally. I am so proud of what they have achieved over coming injury or learning to thrive with long term conditions.
In turn they have all supported and helped me to keep the clinic going through; me being hit by a car, a global pandemic and epilepsy. It has meant I have been able to do what I love for this past 5 years.
I'll leave you with a couple of things I've learned along the way. . . .
πͺ Physio exercise only have value if you do them and they are progressive.
π₯ Don't pay someone 30 quid to sit under a heat lamp for 20 mins for weeks, buy your own, follow safety guidelines not to burn and you'll save a fortune!
π€Έ General exercise should be fun. If a trainer only wants before and after photos of you, poke them in the eye! Try different activities with positive people and you'll be set for life.
π«Ά Finally when going through an injury or dealing with a long term condition don't stop exercising, just adapt it around your injury/condition. Remember to be proud of yourself and you have power to improve your situation!
Big love to everyone
All the best
Rebecca
