We was lucky enough to be invited to attend a care home this week. The children enjoyed the trip on our mini bus down to Hythe. On the way the children pointed out the sheep, cows, the beach with bulldozers. When we arrived at the care home the children interacted with the residents within the setting and even met George the therapy pony they were overjoyed to feed him carrots and apples. They all enjoyed a nice drink and left with a goodie bag and lots of smiles. All the way home they were all talking about the people they had seen. We are excited to visit again. Highfield Care Home

We enjoyed a really lovely morning of music today, thanks to Gavin Alexander 🎶

This afternoon at Highfield, we’ve had not one, but two sets of very special visitors!

We were delighted to welcome the lovely George & Friends Company, who brought along George himself — a beautiful mini Shetland pony 🐴 — as well as a wonderful group of children from Little Oaks Nursery.

The children were absolutely fantastic — so gentle, kind, and thoughtful with George, and equally wonderful with our residents. It was heartwarming to see the connections they made and the care they showed.

Our residents were filled with joy meeting both groups, and there were so many smiles all around.

What a truly beautiful afternoon 💛

In honour of Armistice Day, a couple of our residents visited the Battle of Britain Museum for a touching service of remembrance 🇬🇧. Afterwards, we enjoyed tea in the Cockpit Café ☕️ and shared heartfelt stories about our veterans and their time in service 🌹 Lest we forget 🎖️
