We were so lucky this week to welcome local school children who filled our home with Christmas carols. Those of us who knew the words sang along, and the children thoughtfully made Christmas cards for all our family members. Peter was delighted to present each child with a wrapped gift and sweet treats as a thank you from everyone.

Moments like this can be especially meaningful for people living with a Dementia, as familiar songs, young voices, and shared activities can create a sense of comfort, connection, and nostalgia.
