We are a collective of passionate, skilled therapists with more than 70 years’ combined experience in acupuncture, counselling, massage, beauty, physiotherapy, hypnotherapy, nutrition, readings, aesthetics and relaxation.

Brought together by Ilfracombe Acupuncturist Allie Scott, Kin aims to support you on your path to physical and emotional wellness.

We address a wide range of conditions, from straightforward relaxation to musculoskeletal issues, as well as more intricate psychological and emotional challenges. Our Kin therapists work together to ensure you always find the right person to meet your unique needs and refer both internally and externally to only the most exceptional practitioners.

Unlike most wellness clinics, Kin offers rooms to its therapists at an affordable flat rate. This means some of the best practitioners choose to work here, prioritising client care whilst maintaining the majority of their income.

Kin is a space for all. We’ve worked hard to make it a warm, welcoming and peaceful space with complementary teas and a small shop.

You’re never just a customer to us, you’re part of the collective.

So much has happened in the last six months. We’ve gone from nothing to being the highest rated wellness clinic in the local area. We have become a true one stop shop for wellness. We are so proud to be a part of our local community - Ilfracombe deserves good things!! I didn’t wake up one day thinking

‘I want to open a wellness clinic’

I was an established acupuncturist, working part time in addition as a teacher. Life was easy and happy!

But I had a need - I needed a space that reflected the high standards, warmth, and therapeutic focus of my acupuncture practice.

I also needed to continue to work with other therapists to ensure the best care for my patients

Most brilliant, experienced professionals will have their own practice already.

I needed to think of a way to entice them to work with me! So - how did I do it??

I created a space that reflected how I wanted customers to feel when they left.

Comfortable
Relaxed
Valued

And I contacted the BEST practitioners in the area and set low room rates. I didn’t want to earn a fortune from them, I wanted them on board so that my patients KNEW that they had the best possible care if or when they needed it!!

And they ALL said YES!!

Since then, others have joined us, empowered by our vision and our team work. It really is an amazing place to work!!

 Elin is a Level 5 qualified Coaching Professional with a Level 2 Person-Centred Counselling qualification. With a background that includes 10 years in social care, 13 years in primary and special schools, and 25 years in people management, she brings deep understanding, empathy, and real-life wisdom to every session.

Her coaching style is grounded, patient, and genuinely curious—creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported.

🌿 What Coaching with Elin Looks Like Coaching is a non-therapeutic, collaborative process that helps you focus on your goals—whether personal or professional. Elin won’t tell you what to do. Instead, she’ll work with you to explore where you want to be and help you take small, manageable steps toward real change.
Sessions are 1 hour and usually take place every 4 weeks, giving you time to reflect and embed new ideas.

No Black Friday for us.

We like to keep things consistent, prices the same year round, providing incredible service at a price that works for both our customers and our team. This means you always have a practitioner who is fully focussed on YOU, who is able to afford further training to continually develop and who is able to occasionally treat themselves to treatments. You can 100% see this in our team - we support and encourage each other, we make each other laugh and we are here for each other when times get tough.

Our gals use the very best essential oils and carrier oils and we want to be able to keep offering these lux extras which are rising in price considerably!
