All of us at Kin already know Mel — and most of you will have seen her at some point too ✨ Whether it’s her highly skilled brow services, gorgeous lashes, or getting us summer-ready with waxing and tanning, she’s a familiar face we already love.
Not only is she incredibly talented, but her warm personality and that amazing smile make her the perfect fit for the Kin family 💛 We couldn’t be happier to officially have her with us!

Look at those smiles!! We are so proud to announce ont one but TWO new members of the massage team here at Kin. Since the beginning of March we have had to waitlist some customers for massage due to high demand and so we went looking for some of the newest talent. And we found Jasmine and Erin! Both offer the most beautiful holistic massage and Jasmine will soon be offering both pregnancy massage and massage for cancer. They’ll be available for booking soon with some special offers - watch this space!

Small price increase for the start of the financial year, just for two of us. We don’t like doing it but we want to strive to be the very best practitioners we can be in the most beautiful space we can provide and what with ever rising costs, sometimes we have to pass it on. Welcome to our next offering at Kin Wellness. It’s a little while away but we know that sometimes taking the first step in changing things can take time to work towards. Joliana is our first ‘guest’ group facilitator at Kin. She is an experienced Occupational Therapist with many years of experience in both OT and group facilitations. Why do we sell gold (ish!) in a wellness clinic? ✨

Honestly… because it just makes sense to us.

We’re an acupuncturist-led clinic and gold has a long, meaningful history in Chinese medicine and many other healing traditions. In Chinese medicine, gold is associated with the Metal element — linked to the lungs, clarity, strength, and letting go. It’s seen as something that supports balance, protects energy, and brings a sense of refinement and inner stability. So for us, it’s not just about how it looks (although yes, it’s beautiful), it’s about what it represents too.

At heart, we’re all healers here. Everything we offer is chosen with care, intention, and a genuine desire to help people feel good — inside and out. This felt like a natural extension of that.

We also made sure every piece is waterproof stainless steel and made to last, because we know life isn’t about taking things off — it’s about living in them. So ok, it’s not GOLD gold but it’s as close as we can get for these prices!

And when we looked around, we realised something… the same quality was being sold online for so much more. So we thought, why not bring it here, make it accessible, and offer it at a price that actually feels fair?

Ilfracombe deserves nice things. Simple as that.

So yes, we sell gold… and we love it ✨
