It is so important how you start your day!!

It sets your state for the day…

If you’re allowing the stress and overwhelm from phones 📱, emails and news 📰 📺 to fill you up with negativity and anxiety it’s not going to set a calm state….. (this raises your cortisol levels)

If your snoozing 💤 your alarm ⏰ and telling yourself “I don’t want to face the day, I’m too tired to get up, I’ll get up soon” your filling your head with negative self-talk 🗣️

You need to wake up, have peace, slowly enter the day, and give yourself something calm or enjoyable….

If you have kids, wake yourself up first and have a coffee ☕️ in peace and gift 💝 yourself some time to wake.

Put on a meditation 🧘 and listen to, put on a positive morning podcast to build up your energy.

Setting your state doesn’t have to take a lot of time it can literally take 10/20 mins….

But filling your cup ☕️ up with stress and rushing around and snappy at the kids isn’t good for either of you…..

You get to work stressed and then you need to spend half the day trying to calm your nervous system back down….

My client S, was waking up snoozing continuously and getting to work stressed and in a low mood…. She never thought she could change her snoozing habit but she did…

She then noticed that her new mornnng routine was effecting everyoen at work too she was happier and the positivity was having a ripple effect on her colleagues and they were more positive…

No rushing in the mornings meant she could have a coffee ☕️ in peace…

Sometimes it’s the simple of things that can impact our energy levels and are happiness.

You know when you get a negative thought and suddenly you’re having a million negative thoughts about everything??? Yep they magnetise more

The only way to stop a negative thinking 🤔 loop is to challenge your negative thought 💭 and swap them with a positive one… re-wiring our thoughts allows for growth, change and teaches us coping mechanisms for challenging negativity!!! Don’t always believe what you tell yourself it’s not true!

Watching 📺 Victoria Beckham new documentary and listening to her say she doesn’t feel good enough and that’s been with her, her whole life, is heart breaking…. 💔

Networking this week, every women in the group says their limiting belief is they don’t feel good enough.. whether it was not fitting in, not feeling liked etc… it all came down to the same feeling of feeling not good enough!!

It’s so sad we feel this way. We are all confident, strong and independent women but we rarely focus on what we have done, achieved, and how are traumas have made us stronger and we rarely concentrate or focus on the positives we have achieved in our lives we automatically focus on the negatives… (yep that’s our brains 🧠)

This is why it’s so important to remind oursleves how absolutely fabulous we are!!

How strong 💪 we are!!

How much we have done!

How much we have achieved!!

If you’re feeling not good enough today, I challenge you to write ✍️ down all the things you have done… little and big!!

Create space to honour these achievements… print off pics, remind yourself daily!!

Mindset is everything and it’s time we empowered oursleves to know our worth……

We are literally walking around not knowing how bloody amazing we are and this is your reminder!!!

You are fking amazing!!!! 🤩 and you are worthy and you can do what ever your heart desires 🤍🩶🤍

Society makes us believe we need to work hard, being do, do, do till we have nothing left!!

Let’s flip that switch!

Listen to our bodies needs and honour them….

I had no bloody idea that I wasn’t putting myself first till I fell down the stairs YES big wake up call I was bloody exhuasted and stretched soo thin I slipped…

That 6 weeks of reflection taught me that I was so far away from my own needs I didn’t even know who I was…

Chasing money, chasing valadation from bosses, partners and saying YES to everyone but me.

Depressed and thinking my life was always going to be this way there was no way out!!

But let me tell you something life isn’t always exhausting, it is beautiful when you find yourself and honour yourself first!!

The magic 🪄 happens when you stop choosing other people over you. Stand up and say yes I’m the creator of my own life and I’m going to re-write my story 📖

Pick up that pen 🖊️ and start writing a new page 📄 and before you know it your have a new chapter!!

We don’t have to settle, we can change our story and it starts with you!!

The You First Method was created to empower mums and women like you to stand tall, not accept that you should be exhausted and find that healthy balance, that lets you be present with your kids, show them that being a a role model is about respecting yourself and your needs.
