Weight loss medication should only be prescribed for people with a BMI of 27 and over with a comorbidity or a starting BMI of 30.

There are possible side-effects with weight loss medications but these side-effects out way the benefits when somebody is more at risk of developing type two diabetes, heart disease and cancers due to being obese.

We offer a weight loss service that may include prescribed medication if you are eligible for this medication .

We are a CQC registered clinic which means we adhere to strict guidelines to offer safe practice/ administration and prescribing of any medications to treat a disease . Obesity is classed as a disease.

Jackie has had some well-deserved time off with her family for half term and this weekend she has been to Disneyland Paris with her eldest. It’s all about life balance work hard play hard and have time to spend with loved ones. We hope you enjoy these photos, a little snippet of this weekend. It’s safe to say we’ve done thousands and thousands of steps. 😅. And stitch is now our favourite character ever.

Jackie was also away in Barcelona last weekend with Laser company Alma looking at a new laser for skin rejuvenation we will post more about this visit and experience .

Our skin scanner can show sun damage , sensitivity, fine lines and wrinkles, acne causing bacteria and can even give us an “age” of your skin.

We are in Clinic again this morning for our monthly Blepharoplasty surgery ( upper eyelid surgery) . We have a before and after video of this lady that is being prepared to share with you. The lady on this photo had both upper eyelid skin removed and also an eyebrow lift which has really opened up her eyes given her a more youthful look and just made her very happy which is lovely to see.

If you’re interested in this service, you would need a consultation seven days minimum prior to your surgery and Dr Moyudin comes to the clinic to do the surgeries once a month.
Dr. Moyudin is an ocular Surgeon who works as a consultant in Huddersfield for the in the NHS. He’s an expert in his field and we are lucky to welcome him into our team at Jacqui Mac Medi spa.

I’m a registered mental health nurse I qualified in 2004 and worked in several mental health units and then my last job was in the community in the inner city of Bradford.
