We love having fun at Mayfield View 🤩 and none more so than when two members of the lifestyle team had birthdays on the same day ……. with a combined age of 84 we were lucky enough to share our Birthday with one of our residents we had lots of laughs handing out birthday cakes and buns and spreading the birthday joy with everyone 🍰 🎂 🎁

What an incredibly exciting day, we got to get up close and personal with the most awesome animals 🦓 🐍 🦔

Stinkerbell the skunk 🦨 Bramble the Tenrec 🦔 from Madagascar, Mouse the meerkat and a very hairy Tarantula 🙀

Residents and staff including children forming part of our intergenerational community absolutely loved seeing, handling and asking questions about each animal, we can’t wait to see them again …..

Chinese new year at Mayfield view 🏮 🏮 🇨🇳

We enjoyed a delicious meal of chicken in black bean sauce with rice served by our Head Chef.

2026 is the year of the fire horse 🔥 🐎 a rare and powerful combination of the Chinese Zodiac. The horse is known for energy, independence and a love of freedom, while the fire element adds intensity, courage and a streak of boldness.

We made stunning Chinese lanterns in our craft group and learnt how to write our name in Chinese 🇨🇳
