The residents at Mayfield View had a lovely day on Friday watching The Bluebirds perform wartime sing along songs, there were smiles all round as residents joined in and waved their flags.

The Arts and Crafts group made poppy's to display in the entrance ready for Armistice day and on Sunday thoughts and memories were shared as residents watched the Remembrance service live from the Cenotaph.

Remember, remember, the 5th of November.... when Mayfield View was sparkling!!

The residents from the art and craft group made the home shine by creating some dazzling firework pictures.

Relatives and staff then also joined in to celebrate bonfire night with a magical sparkler show and a traditional pie and pea supper.

The day was brought to an end with a spectacular bonfire cake made by our Lifestyle Lead!

Nobody misses out on a bit of Halloween fun at Mayfield View !

Staff were "treated" to a lucky dip bucket selecting an item from the staff well being trolley and a few extra lucky dippers won vouchers.

Age is nothing but a number!

The residents at Mayfield View have enjoyed a creative intergenerational linking session today. With Falling Stars Theatre supporting the children from a local primary school, everyone linked together to tell stories and act them out using a river.

Lots of creativity and imagination from both the residents and the children.

What an interesting collection! 🦎🐌

Thank you to the Little Zoo to You, who came to visit the residents at Mayfield View on Thursday.

Slithery, slimy and scaly, what a mixture of interesting creatures there were! The residents were extremely brave and made it look like an absolute breeze while they got up close with these amazing visitors.
