We are proud to announce that White Rose Funeral Service has recently been inspected by the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD). As part of the process, the NAFD conducted a thorough review of our mortuary care and all associated documentation.

We are very pleased to share that we passed with flying colours.

Joining the NAFD is an important step for us. It demonstrates to the families we serve that our funeral directors operate to the highest professional standards and are committed to a strict code of conduct. This affiliation reflects our ongoing dedication to providing compassionate, dignified, and respectful care at every stage.

With a strong foundation in care and professionalism, Stephen opened his first funeral home in Burley in Wharfedale in 2015. Following its success, he expanded the business by opening a second location in Barnsley in 2018, growing White Rose Funeral Service into a trusted and valued presence in both communities.

Stephen brings more than just experience to his role—he is highly qualified and deeply passionate about helping people, ensuring that every service is carried out with the utmost dignity and care. His empathetic approach, attention to detail, and calm, reassuring nature have made him a respected figure in the funeral profession.
