So Emma, Bobby and I spent the morning presenting to Curry Rivel C of E Primary School

We talked about how we got into our careers for the Primary Futures initiative 👨‍🏫👩‍🏫

Myself as a hydrotherapist at Pool4Dogs and Emma as a dog walker and boarder at Everything's Rosie pet care

Thank you to everyone for being so interested, asking some great questions and being very kind and calm with Bobby (and Millie my fake dog)😄

This is Tala the Czech Wolf x Alaskan Malamute x German Shepherd 🐺

She has been going to hydro since she was 5 months old after a very early diagnosis of hip dysplasia :(

Unfortunately her previous Hydrotherapy centre are unable to continue providing the Hydrotherapy service so she has been referred to Pool4Dogs 👍

Which is convenient for Keira as this is Keira's family's dog and she can have her hydro combined with end of day pick up :)

I'm so grateful to have Ellen working with me at Pool4Dogs 🙏 Ellen is working hard to help me get through my rehabilitation waiting list, which includes a lot of complex cases.

Ellen is a trained animal Physiotherapist and Hydrotherapist and has a great rapport with all her canine clients 🐶🤗

So I completed my Reactivity Zones Approach course today with Victoria Stilwell and Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training & Behavior

Having worked with and lived with "reactive dogs" for nearly 18 years this is something that is very close to my heart ❤️ and I am always interested in expanding my knowledge, credentials and learning 🤓 something I feel very strongly about in this unregulated industry.

Scientific research shows that working in safety and comfort and creating a bank of positive experiences is far more important than working in the danger zone where our dogs are set up to fail, react and then need to be "corrected", this can only lead to fall out in the future 😔

I'm glad to have finished this course just in time to team up with Jo of Paws4Teaching for our Space Cadet Program 🚀 🐶

I'm very excited to start this journey with many of my doggy friends 😁
