Our Autumn Winter Term starts tomorrow and I can't wait!

For anyone new joining us this term - welcome!

If you're worried about attending your first class - don't be!

💙 It doesn't matter if your toddler cries
💛 It doesn't matter if your toddler is shy
💙 It doesn't matter if your toddler doesn't want to join in with an activity
💛 It doesn't matter if your toddler snatches or is reluctant to share

We won't bat an eye-lid (we're parents too!) and neither will the other parents in your class.

We know that some toddlers may not want to participate in all activities (though great if they do) and we all understand that at times they may feel shy, overwhelmed or unable to control their emotions - that's just part of being a toddler!

We welcome everyone with a toddler aged 13 months + to our Toddler Sense classes for a whole world of sensory stimulation, play, fun adventures and learning.

💛💙 ADVENTURERS 💙💛

Our Adventurers sessions are perfect for little ones between 20 months - 3 years.

This is such an exciting time for your little ones! They're starting to get really confident moving around and may even be interested in exploring more on their own (although they'll still like to check you're close by). This is the time that they start interacting more with other children of similar ages. It's where they start to socialise and learn more about sharing, and form connections with other children.

During our Adventurers sessions we help to encourage them to take on new challenges, learn new ways of doing things and develop essential physical, communication and social skills.

Did you know that we have different classes for different age groups?

Specifically designed to aid your toddler's development at key stages in their early years, our classes are divided into different groups so you know your little one is being supported and learning vital skills at the right time.

It also allows your little ones to explore in confidence knowing that big ones have room to roam and our tiny ones can investigate on wobbly legs knowing they're nice and safe!

We start with

💙💛 NEW EXPLORERS 💛💙

Our New Explorers are little ones aged between 13 months - 20 months.

This is such an important stage for little ones. It's all about building their confidence as they find their feet and helping to build up muscle strength and coordination.

Our adventure play is filled with lots of low level equipment for them to explore as they work on their independent movement.

Our activity sessions are based on activities for parents and little ones to do together - they learn so much for interaction with you and from being able to watch and copy what you're doing.

This session is a wonderful transition from Sensory South Somerset and Baby Sensory Taunton and Bridgwater as we continue to build on the vital skills they've learnt with Kelly, Nic, Merrin and Lucy, and as they're surrounded by little ones the same age it's a lovely introduction to the Toddler Sense programme.

Starting on Monday 3rd November and finishing on Friday 19th December, this term is 7 weeks pack full of adventures and sensory delights, it's one not to be missed!

We'll be starting with a bang in a Fireworks Display, pulling something special out of our hat in Magic Show, packing the sandwiches for our Teddy Bears' Picnic for Children In Need, heading on a magical mystery tour to the jungle in Watch Me Fly, snuggling up in an igloo in Winter Magic, playing games and wobbling like jellies at our Toddler Party, and getting ready for Santa's visit in Festive Fun!

Fill up your cauldron and grab your broomstick! It's time to set off on an adventure with a witch!

This Friday (31st October) we have our Room on the Broom Sensory Story and Messy Play adventure. We have a couple of spaces remaining and we'd love for you to join us.

We'll be scouring the bushes for a hat, climbing up trees for a bow and diving to the depths of the pond for a wand, but watch out for a fire-breathing dragon and a bog-dwelling beast!

Sessions are £10 per child or £8 each for siblings. Siblings under 6 months are welcome to attend free of charge. Older siblings will need to have spaces booked.

👋 Hello! 👋

I’m still here! I’ve realised I’ve been a little quiet over the last few weeks, life’s been a bit crazy!

I’ve spent the last few days taking a much needed break with the family in the Lake District, but I’ll be back tomorrow to get myself organised ahead of our super exciting Autumn Winter term.

If I haven’t responded to any messages, I’ll get back to you as soon as I can, but for now I’m logging off to enjoy our final day of holiday.

Tod's blown out the candles on his birthday cake and just like that our Autumn term is over.

We've blasted through the galaxy in our rocket ship, chugged down the train line, helped round up our letters blown away by the wind, raced Rodys for the gold medal, crunched our way through autumn leaves, and celebrated Tod's birthday.

We've had first steps, first cuddles, some of you have said my name for the first time (this one gets me every time!). I've had an absolute blast and I can't thank you enough for joining me.

If you've been along to one of our sessions this term I would be so grateful if you could take a few minutes to write me a review. It's one of the main things new customers look for when booking a class and as a small business I really would appreciate any help you could give me.
