Welcome to the world, baby Calvin! 💙
This little guy made a calm and confident arrival at home in the early hours of a July morning. His mum absolutely smashed it, using her breathing, her TENS, and the pool (which she described as pure euphoria) to stay in control right to the end.
The build-up included ice cream at the local Italian, a slow wander round a golf course, some comedy heckling from strangers, and a bowl of pasta for good measure , it all kicked off properly on the Friday night, and Calvin was born just after 1am.
She stayed so connected, grounded, and in tune with her body the whole way through. It was fast, smooth, and full of those little moments that make birth truly memorable, Including rummaging around in the pool to find baby when he came out so chilled he didn’t even cry.
So proud of how she brought everything she learned into it, and so pleased I got to be part of her journey....again!!
