I've known this for years but it's good be reminded and re-remember! 🤗😇

The older I get, the more I realise solitude isn’t loneliness. It’s maintenance.
There’s a kind of peace that only comes when you’re surrounded by stillness. The world quiets down and you start to feel connected again, to yourself, to the things that matter, to the simple rhythm of your own space.

I think that’s the beauty of slowing down. You stop rushing to fill every silence and start letting it refill you instead.
