TESCO PHARMACY

Please be aware that Tesco Pharmacy have let GP practices know that since last week they are currently not collecting prescriptions.
This is completely out with the practice's control.

But it means that if you have Tesco Pharmacy as your preferred pharmacy on your record and you had a prescription done in the last week or so, your prescription will likely still be here at the practice.

If this concerns you, please call us on 01463 214450 to let us know of an alternative pharmacy you'd like the prescription to go to or come and collect it from the practice yourself.

We will update this post once we hear when collections are due to restart.

CLOSURE 9TH FEBRUARY BETWEEN 1-2PM

Due to an essential IT upgrade on Monday the 9th of February, the practice will be closed between 1-2pm that day.

Our IT systems will be down over lunchtime to facilitate this work but doors and phonelines will be open as normal until 1pm and after 2pm on the 9th.

Crown Medical Practice is seeking a highly motivated Medical Receptionist to join our friendly primary care team, with experience in dealing with the public and who is capable of working across all aspects of practice administration.
Previous experience of working in a medical practice would be highly desirable but not essential as full training will be provided and finding the right person to fit in with the team is more important.

PRACTICE OPENING TIMES DURING THE HOLIDAY PERIOD

Wednesday 24/12 - open as usual
Thursday 25/12 to Sunday 28/12- closed
Monday 29/12 to Wednesday 31/12 - open as usual
Thursday 1/1 to Sunday 4/1 - closed

From Monday the 5th of January we will be open again for our normal hours.

If you require urgent medical assistance on days we are closed please contact NHS24 on 111.

BOWEL SCREENING

People living in Scotland aged 50 to 74 are sent a home bowel screening test every two years. The test can be done in the privacy of your home and returned using the pre-paid envelope provided.
