A little bit about us....

Isobel Fraser Care Home has been a charity run home since 1938 in Mayfield Road Inverness.
We strive to provide person centred 5 star care and this is reflected in our care inspector reports.

Isobel frasers is a home from home , warm, welcoming with our Isobel Fraser pets and friendly, caring staff.

We currently have vacancies for members of the public to apply to be members of the board of trustees . This is a voluntary role in which requires an enthusiastic individual to take part in the board meetings to help maintain the high level of care we deliver at Isobel Frasers.

We are all over the moon here at Isobel Fraser Care Home as our AMAZING chef Alex has been recognised by the Scottish Care national care home awards 2025 and is a finalist for the Nutrition and eating well award 2025!

We are all very grateful to Alex for everything he does in the home for the residents and staff ... keep a look out on our page for updates to come.. we all have our fingers crossed and are all rooting for you ! 🤞 🩵💙🩵

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to three of our dedicated Isobel Fraser Care Home care assistants for there amazing fundraising amounts that they have raised recently .

Sophie and Lorraine held the annual Race night at Dows bar and bistro and raised £3,030.00
We would like to thank all of the sponsors who sponsored races, and to everyone who attended the night.

Stephen has now compelted the St Magnus walk in Orkney and has raised an amazing £830.00 also.

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped support our care staff in these fundraising projects. The money raised goes straight to the residents fund and helps us to ensure that our residents have the best life here at Isobel Fraser home with there izzy family. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

One of our longest serving care assistants at Isobel Fraser Care Home , Stephen, is undertaking the "St Magnus Way" from 29th July until 5th August.

This walk is just over 58 miles long and is set of 5 separate walks around the Orkney Isles.

Stephen is doing this to raise funds for the residents fund for the home.
Inside the door in the home, is a sponsor sheet and also a link below if you would like to donate.

Any donation big or small is hugely appreciated from all residents and everyone at the home.

What a wonderful long weekend away to Tummel Valley ,Pitlochry we have had ! Such good memories made , and laughter had on our resident holiday 2025🩵
