A chance for those in Fort William and the surrounding areas to talk about su***de prevention with local organisations, view some key short films and chat to staff/volunteers from Highland su***de prevention and bereavement charities.
This free event is open to professionals, organisations and anyone with an interest in furthering conversations around su***de prevention in their community.
Our friends at Nairn County FC know the importance of looking out for each other, both on and off the pitch.
Support doesn't end at the final whistle, but many men still feel the pressure to stay silent when it comes to their mental health. It doesn't have to be that way.
Whether it's a pal, colleague, teammate or family member - a simple "how are you, really?" can make all the difference.
This Men's Mental Health Month, let's keep the conversation going and remind everyone that it's ok not to be ok.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Ross County Football Club Ladies Day at the weekend in aid of Mikeysline.
It was an event full of fun and fundraising and we cannot stress enough just how grateful we are, and what a difference these vital funds will make to our grassroots charity.
Big shout out to the players who wore our t-shirts onto the pitch to shine a light Men's Mental Health Month and our support in the community; to our wonderful volunteers, RedPoppy Catering and Highland Party Pals

Bullying - whether at school, work or online - can leave deep emotional scars that last a lifetime.
Your words matter, so use them for good - to promote kindness and compassion, and speak up for others.
This Anti-Bullying Week, and every week, Mikeysline is here to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you to talk through whatever is impacting your mental health ๐
Please remember if you are struggling at all with your mental health, your mind is feeling loud or you are experiencing thoughts of su***de, we are here for you:
As a grassroots charity that receives no statutory funding, it's your generous donations and fundraising that enables us to provide our lifeline services throughout the Highlands, Islands and Moray.
We couldn't do it without you.

TEXTLINE:
The Mikeysline text service was launched in December 2015. We have been supporting the people of the Highlands in their times of need ever since. It was the first of its kind in the UK.
By using a text line, as opposed to a phone line, anonymity is assured. This removes the awkwardness sometimes found in talking with a total stranger. ๐ท1 in 4 people will hang up when they use a phone line, the nerves taking over and sometimes, they arenโt quite able to get the words out. With a text line, this removes that โurgencyโ if you like. A moment can be taken, words can be deleted and time taken to really manage to put it into words how they are feeling.
In this current age of multimedia communications, it is a tragedy to think there are so many still feeling alone, isolated and not able to express their feelings. Weโre here to help.
A common misconception about Mikeysline is that it is only for young people. Thatโs not the case - we cater for all ages, and have been doing so since we were founded.
Our team of volunteers are there for you each and every day. Nobody has all the answers, but what they do have, is an understanding ear and guidance where we can. They do have time to support you when you need it most. Most of all, however, theyโre there for you.
The Hive
The Hive is the Highlandโs first out of hours mental health crisis centre, based at 19 Academy Street, Inverness. This ambitious local initiative provides a safe place to those who are in need of it. Coupled with our text service, the joint aim is to reduce social isolation. We want to help vulnerable people to maintain their mental health on a continuous basis.
The Hive is a place to attend without fear of being judged. It is a place for anyone aged 17 and up to come when they feel lost with nowhere to turn. Our staff and volunteers will lend an ear, be there for you and try to help you get through what you are feeling.
One of the main aims for the Hive is to provide an alternative. Instead of heading home and bottling up emotions, come to the Hive. In place of being trapped inside your own head, second guessing, the Hive is a platform to try and work it out. We promise we will try to help you through it.
We know we wonโt have all the answers โ we donโt profess to be experts. What we do promise is that we are there for you. Sharing your thoughts with an understanding ear can provide a different perspective, as well as the weight it will lift from your shoulders.
We promise you a warm welcome, a hot brew and we WILL listen.
