What a week it’s been for the team at Highland Security Ltd!

On Tuesday, our client Eden Court contacted us with a last-minute request—and our team had staff on site without delay.
We continued supporting Eden Court with customer safety duties on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Our Private Eyes deployment has been running seven nights a week, ensuring consistent and professional coverage.

Our Mobile Response and Patrol teams have been busy too—conducting staff welfare checks, attending client sites, and responding to alarm activations throughout the week.

And tonight, we have a team working alongside our Security Operations Director, assisting the in-house security at Johnny Fox’s.

A huge thank-you to all our staff for their hard work and commitment, and to our clients for their continued trust and support.

In recent weeks, our management team has been focused on essential administrative work, including staff vetting and development initiatives that will strengthen our operations and support the next phase of Highland’s growth. Further updates will follow in due course.

We would also like to recognise the important role of our office team, who continue to work tirelessly behind the scenes. From responding to a high volume of client calls and emails to preparing quotes for new enquiries and coordinating requests for additional support, their efforts are vital in ensuring smooth operations across the business.

Operationally, our frontline teams remain highly active:
• Mobile Response: nightly site patrols and alarm responses
• Private Eyes: 7 days
• Event Security: staff assigned for crowd safety
• Venue Support: additional assistance provided to the in-house team at Johnny Foxes on Saturday

Highland Security Ltd – Raising Standards and Compliance

As part of our continuous improvement programme and commitment to staff welfare, our CEO conducted unannounced site and welfare checks this evening across multiple venues.

All staff on duty were found to be smartly presented in company uniform and demonstrating a high standard of professionalism in their interactions with venue staff and members of the public.

In addition to their normal security duties, our staff were also conducting random searches in line with venue policy — ensuring compliance not only among attendees but also among venue staff. These procedures are carried out respectfully and professionally to maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone on site.

These random compliance checks are a key element of our operational strategy, ensuring full adherence to the Private Security Industry Act 2001, including the mandatory and visible display of SIA licences while on duty.

Mobile Response Unit – Black Isle Deployment

One of our mobile response units is operating in the Black Isle, equipped with the latest 4G base stations featuring integrated GPS. These systems provide continuous location tracking and automatically log the last known position in the event of a power interruption, supporting fault diagnostics and asset recovery.

The vehicles are also fitted with medical kits and fully operational AEDs, ensuring immediate response capabilities. Real-time monitoring further enhances staff safety, particularly for personnel working as lone workers, while maintaining operational reliability and community protection.

Rapid Response. Real-Time Reporting. 🚨

Another excellent example of how our systems and people work together to deliver a fast, professional service.

Earlier today, our control centre received an alarm activation from one of our longest-standing clients. Thanks to our ERO being active in Inverness and our newly implemented 4G radio network, our response driver was on site within five minutes of the alarm being received.

Following attendance, a full external and internal check was carried out, and a comprehensive electronic report was instantly submitted through our staff management system. Every report is time, date, and geo-stamped, ensuring complete transparency and peace of mind for our clients.

Our investment in technology and training continues to enhance our ability to respond quickly, communicate effectively, and document every action in real time.
