We often speak to families who are unsure where to turn when someone they love is living with dementia. Getting the right advice early can make a real difference.

Dementia UK are holding free face to face appointments with a specialist Admiral Nurse in Inverness, offering the chance to talk through questions and concerns in confidence.

If you care for someone living with dementia or have a diagnosis yourself Dementia UK is offering free 45 minute face to face appointments with a specialist Admiral Nurse. It’s a chance to talk through any questions or concerns and get expert, personalised support.

These dementia clinics are taking place in selected Nationwide branches. Every appointment is confidential and held in a private space within the branch.

And you don’t need to be a Nationwide member to book.

✨Employee of the Month for February✨
Big shout for Marianne Benjamin 👏

Marianne has gone above and beyond this month, taking on an incredible number of shifts and stepping in to cover sickness whenever needed — something we truly appreciate.
She also handled a very difficult situation with great courage and professionalism. Despite the emotional weight of the incident, Marianne pulled herself together and chose to complete the rest of her shift, saying her clients still needed her.
Marianne, your dedication, resilience, and big-hearted attitude shine through in everything you do. Well done — we are absolutely delighted to have you as part of the team!

There are people missing partners who should still be here.

People holding everything together quietly, while life feels heavier than it used to.

Today isn’t always about cards or chocolates.

Sometimes it’s about patience.
Sometimes it’s about showing up.
Sometimes it’s about asking for – or accepting – a little help.
