Beyond Boarders Sup will be paddling the Lochs, Sea and Canals this Summer In many locations in the Highlands & Islands with qualified SUP Instructor Emma Mitchell who has many years paddling experience, teaching fitness classes in many venues over the last 15 years and helping people to improve their overall well-being through breath work, meditation, paddling, studying Advanced outdoor pursuits, instructing Yogalates, leading and promoting community walking groups through Partnerships for Wellbeing, UWCB boxing for cancer research charity, using mindfulness in her sessions, energy healing workshops, doing drum sessions, open mic nights and allowing people to let go of their anxiety and stress and really enjoy being out in nature.

A Digital detox on the water can really help people to focus and clear their minds of so much information that we are filled with on a daily basis.

Reality check!
When I first started doing Yogalates I was as stiff as a tight hamstring muscle after a long run, I literally could hardly get my chest to my knees, my back was cracking like bubble wrap after having a bambino, I couldn't twist to see the wall behind me and at times I thought I'm never going to be the person I had visions in my mind about where I could bend like a hula hoop or hold a balancing position with ease.

I was always comparing myself to others (over thinking) when one day during a meditation I began to release those frustrations, tension & expectations and anxieties and it made a world of difference. We're all on our own journey, yes we might struggle at times and not know how to deal with it, but finding coping mechanisms and a way to release built up tension can do wonders for your mind and body.

All I'm try to say is be realistic with your goals, don't beat yourself up doing it and YOU CAN DO IT
