🚨 We need your help in Inverness 🚨
Demand for our services across the Highlands is growing - and we’re now looking for a permanent base in Inverness to better support local people to stay independent and safe on the road. At DriveAbility Scotland, we support individuals to regain or maintain their driving independence through specialist, person-centred assessment and training.

Our services include:

🚗 Driving assessments (Occupational Therapist + Driving Assessor)

🧠 Advice on vehicle adaptations & specialist equipment

🔧 Adaptation assessments for return to driving

🚙 Specialist driving tuition in adapted vehicles

🧭 Guidance on wider mobility options to support independence

📍 What we’re looking for in Inverness:

✔️ 2–3 small office spaces

✔️ Accessible premises

✔️ Parking suitable for assessment vehicles

We know many charities, community organisations, and businesses have underused or available space - and we’d love to explore whether we could be a fit.

💡 Why this matters:

A permanent base in Inverness would mean:

• Faster access to local support

• Reduced long-distance travel for clients

• More people gaining timely help to stay independent

🤝 If you can help, or know someone who might, please share this post or get in touch directly.

Unfortunately due to the current heavy snow the last couple days we have had to put a few jobs on hold this week. ☁️❄️

Our plumber up in Helmsdale probably had a good idea there wouldn’t be much work getting done when he went out to check his snow bin-o-meter in the morning! ⛄️☃️
