Happy Easter everyone 🌸
I hope you have a lovely Sunday, however you’re spending it.

I love a craft project. It keeps my hands busy and turns down the chatter from my mind monkeys for a while! But I’d got out of the habit… telling myself I didn’t have time, whilst somehow still finding time to scroll on my phone (🤔 does that sound familiar?!)

So a couple of months ago, I set myself a challenge — when I felt the urge to scroll, I’d pick up some felt instead.

And this is the result… a little Easter garland for my fireplace

Is it perfect? Absolutely not! But do I love the quirkiness? Yes, I do! It’s another reason I love crafting. It challenges my over critical thinking and need for things to be ‘right’. When I switch that off, I can just enjoy the process and love the outcome - even if the chick does look a bit like a cute version of Frankenstein’s monster 😄

New month, new beginnings…? 🌱

Spring is definitely doing its thing now — every time I look in the garden there’s something new popping up. Some of it I remember planting… some of it is a complete surprise 😄

I love this time of year though. There’s something about everything coming back to life that lifts my mood and I’m trying to find 10 minutes everyday to slow down and actually notice it (in between everything else!).

I hope you find a little moment to enjoy the fresh start of April too 🌸💚

Spring Equinox blessings to you all 🌱✨
It really feels like we’ve earned this one 😄

If you’re looking to put a little more ‘spring in your step’ this season, my diary is open for April bookings 🌼

Like most of you, I’m very glad we’ve made it through January. Thank you to everyone who braved the weather to come along for treatments this month. It’s been lovely to see you.

Finally February is here, there are snowdrops in my garden and the days are becoming ever so slightly longer. Sadly, it’s still raining but we can’t have everything ☔️

Whilst I welcome these positive signs, this final stage of winter can feel a bit flat. The excitement of Christmas is long gone and spring still feels a long way off. The grey, cold days can take their toll on our mood. I hear this a lot in the treatment room at this time of year.

So if February feels like a month you just need to get through rather than fully enjoy, I’m with you!

My antidote to that feeling is to up my self-care. I try to get lots of sleep, eat healthy vegetable soups, get outside as much as possible to notice all the budding signs of spring I can, treat myself to bunches of daffodils to brighten up my home, and of course, have reflexology (well, I would say that, wouldn’t I?!) I have my own appointment booked this month. How about you? 😉

I’m back in my cosy treatment room at last!

A week later than planned, thanks to all that snow, but it was so nice to be able to welcome clients back today. Thank you to everyone who had to move their appointment last week — I really appreciate it.

And if the cold and chaotic start to the year has left you feeling a bit out of sorts, I’m here if you’d like to experience how reflexology can support your wellbeing during the winter months ❄️🤍

As we reach the final cosy tip, I just want to wish you all a joyful, peaceful, and healthy Christmas and New Year.
Thank you so much for trusting me with your treatments, for every like and share, and every bit of support you given my small business the year. I’m looking forward to welcoming you back into the treatment room in 2026.

If you’re flagging a bit today, you’re not alone. The lead up to Christmas can feel like it’s all about doing, but rest matters too. Sometimes just stopping for a moment and breathing properly is all it takes to help things feel more manageable. You’ve genuinely done enough.

I always like to pause for the Winter Solstice. It's the shortest day and the longest night, and marks a turning point in the year and seasons. It’s the astronomical beginning of winter (although for weather purposes winter starts on 1st December). From here on, the light slowly returns, even if we don’t notice it straight away.

I shall be marking the moment by lighting a candle as a reminder that brighter days are on their way.

The pairing of lemon and ginger is a lovely winter boost. The vitamin C from the lemon and the warming kick from the ginger are perfect for this cold, sniffly time of year.

I love the idea of having a cosy corner, even if it’s just a favourite blanket flung over the arm of the sofa with a few candles flickering nearby.

Do you have a favourite spot to cosy up?
