Top tips for injury prevention ⬇️

Warm up for 5-10 minutes using dynamic movements before activity to prepare muscles and joints. Ensure you cool-down afterward to aid recovery.

Gradually increase your activity to avoid overuse. Avoid sudden increases in intensity, duration, or frequency of training to prevent overuse injuries.

Do not ignore pain or fatigue. Take rest days, especially if you experience persistent soreness or aches.

But lets face it making big changes is hard. Stop thinking you have to make these changes all at once.

If you don’t exercise at all trying to fit in 45min sessions several times a week is hard.

Go easy on yourself! If you have 5 mins waiting for the kettle to boil why not practice some balance work by standing on one leg? Brushing your teeth - do some squats!

Grab those brief opportunities because consistency is better than intensity.
