The family would like to express their sincere thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy on the loss of John (Tumphie), a dear dad, father-in-law, granda and great-granda. Thanks to the staff at Muick Ward, Royal Cornhill Hospital and Ward 101 A.R.I. for their kindness and care given. Thanks also to the Rev. Ian Manson for his uplifting service, to Floral Request for the flower arrangement and to Kerry Smith for the lovely teas. A special thanks to John and staff at Craig & Beverly Funeral Directors for their professional and caring funeral arrangements. Finally, grateful thanks to all who joined the family to pay their last respects.

Sadly, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, with family by her side, on Sunday, November 30, 2025, Angela, aged 59 years. Dearly loved mum of Claire, Owen, Amy and Zoe, mother-in-law to Amy, devoted grandma to Kayla, loving sister to Audrey, sister-in-law to Dave and a dear niece and friend to many. Cremation private. A celebration for Angela’s life will be held in Newmachar Parish Church, on Friday, January 9, at 1.00pm to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. No flowers please.

As the year draws to a close, it’s common to think of the people who are special to us – especially those we've lost. That’s why we’ve chosen to take part in Light a Candle.

From 15 to 21 December we’ll be posting digital candles in memory of those who can’t be with us during the festive season. If you’d like to create a virtual candle, please click the following link where you can choose a design and write a short message to a loved one.

Devoted wife of the late Peter, much loved mother to Gordon and the late Helen, mother-in-law to Margaret, beloved grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral service at Insch Parish Church on Monday, December 22 at 12 noon, thereafter to Insch Cemetery. All family and friends respectfully invited. Fiona and family would like to thank all family, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy by way of cards, flowers and messages following the passing of Tom. Sincere thanks to Jan Hughes for her comforting words, to Kerry’s Katering for the lovely teas, to Lorna of Floral Request for the beautiful flowers and to Wendy of Craig & Beverly Funeral Directors for the funeral arrangements. Finally, thank you to all who attended the crematorium and generously donated £272 in aid of Men in Mind.
