Shoulder problems are very common and come with a variety of symptoms which can seem to be unrelated to the underlying issue.
In NKT we assess each individual case in order to find the root of the problem.
The teres major is the consummate behind-the-scenes troublemaker. It rotates, but isn't part of the famous rotator cuff. It adducts and extends also, but the lat gets all the press. When a problem, it tends to severely restrict overhead movement and the ability to put the arm behind the back. It's frequently inhibited, but even MORE frequently found bracing for nearby inhibition. When evaluating the shoulder, don't overlook it.
