💖 Spreading the Love at Baylham Care Home 💖

What a wonderful day we had on Saturday 14th February as we celebrated Valentine’s with our “Spreading the Love” coffee morning here at Baylham!

It was fantastic to see so many of our lovely residents, families and friends come together to enjoy a morning filled with laughter, treats and great company.

Our incredibly talented chef, Ricky, treated us to a delicious selection of homemade cakes and desserts – and they certainly didn’t disappoint! 🍰☕

The highlight of the morning had to be our fun game, “Break My Heart” ❤️ Residents and families chose a cup and poked through the tissue to reveal a surprise prize, challenge or question. There were chocolates, teddies, smellies and lots, lots more – and plenty of smiles all around!

Thank you to everyone who came along and made the morning so special. The feedback has been fantastic, and we’re so grateful for the continued support from our Baylham family.

This year, we have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Christmas trees across our home, with each one bringing its own personality, creativity, and festive cheer.

We’ve had such a busy summer that we didn’t get the chance to show you of what we’ve been up to!

We have joined the Ipswich Town Football Club Dementia Cafe! ⚽️

What a fabulous morning of reminiscing for our residents recalling fond stories of supporting ITFC from the 1980’s.

Please see the ITFC dementia community supported by ex players who are ambassadors of the club.

Yay! The sun is out! ☀️And we’ve finally gone to the beach!! 🏖️🌊👓🚌
The residents have enjoyed their first trip to Felixstowe after a long while! ☺️
Sunshine☀️. Ice cream 🍦. Chips 🍟. Paddling 🏄‍♀️

We are planning to go on weekly trips the whole of summer!!
Would of been nice if you all can join us too! 💃

The sun is out ☀️ and so is the Baylham Bus!! 🚎

We are soo proud to inform you all that we are now going to do the weekly trips again as our bus is now back up and running!!! (weather permitting)☀️

Our initial trip was at the Needham Lake!

Everyone’s enjoyed the lovely sunshine!! ☀️

Our activity team is also now on full blow as have now got lots of exciting activities over the summer period!!

We will definitely share with you all of the good stuff that is happening here in the home.

We have also managed to get the bus up and running again! Such a glorious time as we’ve found a bird’s nest in it!
Time to have it MOT’d and we will be back up on the road! 🚌🛣️
