Wednesday’s Emergency First Aid at Work course was another fun session to deliver with all the students getting some great hands on practical training.

Our students were from many of our regular clients such as suffolkmind and BTS Group Ltd - Careers. This time we had a special guest student from IKON Training Ltd; James was renewing his certification with us.

It’s always a bit nerve wracking when you know you have another expert trainer in on a course. But some very kind words from him after the course shows there was nothing to worry about. Phew.

We love using IKON Training’s training room. Such a professional set up in a great location.

We have one more course in the calendar before the end of this year. Some training for another regular client.

p.s. We’re not quite sure why or how James has the strange lighting and glow coming from him in the picture?

I think I was too slow with the this time!

How long would it take you (or someone else if you’re doing on someone) to fetch the nearest AED to you when you see this post?

What an amazing story I saw on the TV this morning whilst I had my breakfast.

Seconds count in a cardiac arrest and this dog Poly alerted Hannah straight away giving Adam the best chance possible.

My lovely children showing me they found an AED on our current travels. This one is in Naples.

We’re always on the lookout for AEDs wherever we go.

I saw this in a local Tesco this week.

We completely disagree with the top sticker on this cabinet.

An AED can be used by anyone, even if they are not trained. The instructions on them are clear, they tell you what to do and the call handler will tell you what to do too.

Obviously someone with some training will do it a bit quicker but anyone can use one.

We absolutely love receiving feedback like this from courses. Here are a few from last week's course.
