This November, two incredible friends – both named Chloe – served up a delicious fundraiser at Ipswich Hospital in support of the Breast Care Services and Cancer Care Services.🍰

After being diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer at just 35, nurse Chloe Smith wanted to give something back to the teams who have supported her every step of the way. Both Chloe's raised an incredible £1,035.31, and sold out completely! 🙌🎉

"They have looked after me so well, I am so grateful. After just six weeks of chemo, my tumour has halved in size! I'm so proud of us, and of everyone who took the time and effort to bake for such a worthy cause. I wish I could personally thank each and everyone who supported the sale." - Chloe Smith

Thank you to everyone who baked, bought and supported. Sign up to our newsletter to see the full impact of your support each month!

What an amazing effort!

A huge thank you to the Colchester Rotary Forum and volunteers, who gave an incredible effort planting over 4000 crocus bulbs in the Colchester Hospital Wellbeing garden last week.

We are so grateful for your support in both time and the donation of the crocus bulbs. We look forward to the spring display early next year!🌸

We were honoured to welcome Vicki Nicholls, her daughter Emily, and family members Laurence, Rosie, and Sarah to Children’s Services at Ipswich Hospital, where they met with Siobhan from our Play Team for a tour of the unit.

The visit was in loving memory of Matt, a much-loved husband, dad, son, and brother, who sadly passed away unexpectedly. Matt was a familiar face to our team, regularly visiting the hospital with Emily, who receives care from our Oncology Department. His warmth and kindness touched many of the team💙

In his memory, the family generously donated £2,200 to support the department, a cause close to their hearts, and one that Matt himself had fundraised for through his recent abseil challenge.

💙 A heartfelt thank you to the Nicholls family

We are extremely grateful for your continued support.

🏍️ A huge congratulations to Kev, Michelle, and the entire Suffolk Biker Family! 🏍️

Crowds turned out in amazing numbers for the annual ride out this summer, setting off from Needham Market and riding through the countryside, cheered on by so many wonderful supporters along the way! 💙

With food, music, raffles, a brave head shave, auctioned T-shirts, a pub quiz, and match funding from MACE, you raised an incredible £4,301.70 this year! 🎉

The communities continued support shone through, bringing the total fundraising over the past 5 years to an amazing £13,499.13, in support of cancer services at Ipswich Hospital and the Woolverstone Centre, a cause close to your hearts. 💕

👏 Congratulations and a heartfelt thanks to everyone involved, what an inspiring team effort!

A huge thank you to members of the Mersea Island Lodge No. 5534 Essex Freemasons who took on our Hospital Hero Hike this October.

After tackling many fields, stiles and strong winds, this wonderful team managed to complete the 21-mile walk in just eight hours, raising an incredible £1,000 for our Charity.

This generous donation will go towards providing essential medical equipment and services that go beyond what the NHS can provide.

Thank you for your incredible effort and for getting involved to support your local hospital services. We look forward to seeing you in our other events!
