JRSTT My name is John Reynolds (JR) and I live and work in Ipswich and the surrounding Eastern region and also London on an adhoc basis.

Functional Movement * Injury & Imbalance Correction * Biomechanics * Strength & Conditioning * Injury Rehab & Prevention * Nutrition * Coach * Gait * Rehab * Massage * Posture I am a keen runner and spend as much time as I can in my trail shoes. I am a functional movement and injury rehabilitation specialist, actively involved in sport in the community at both grassroots and higher level. My work covers form and multi-directional movement biomechanics, injury assessment and rehab, remedial and sports massage, postural assessment, one-to-one coaching, and pitch-side support. I also work with the Core Club Online community to prevent injury through developing capabilities around balance, posture, form, footfall, strength and conditioning. Core Club Online is a life's work. Core Club Online is movement not exercise.

I have studied extensively and my qualifications are recognised nationally and in many other countries as well. They enable me as a functional movement specialist to practice independently and also to obtain full comprehensive insurance cover. I am also a Level 4 Qualified Kinesiology Taping Specialist as well as being Pitch Side First Aid/Trauma and AED qualified. Please take a look at www.jrstt.co.uk to find out more.

So pleased for Karen.

16.20kg down since we started and absolutely smashing it. No weighing out food, no calorie counting, no logging of foods eaten. Just grown up thinking, routine and boundaries.

2026 is a huge year for Karen and I’m right behind her roaring her on every step of the way 👣

Keep at it Karen 👊

2025: The Year 391,000 People Ran Parkrun on a Single Day—And Other Wild Running Moments

This year broke records and hearts across the running world. On April 19, parkrun set a global attendance record with 391,000 participants worldwide (218,000 in the UK alone). London Marathon became the world's largest with 56,640 finishers—until NYC reclaimed the crown with 59,226 finishers in November.

Harry Styles ran two World Marathon Majors, finishing Berlin in 2:16. Former video game champion Sam King—once overweight and depressed—ran 80 ultramarathons in 80 consecutive days. Sara Cox raised £11 million for Children in Need by running 135 miles in five days despite not owning running shoes before training started. And the Barkley Marathons? Zero finishers, as usual.

Faith Kipyegon nearly broke 4 minutes for the mile (ran 4:06.91—fastest women's mile in history). Alex Yee—a triathlete—ran 2:06:38 at the Valencia Marathon in only his second marathon attempt. Sarah Perry crushed the women's Big's Backyard Ultra record with 395.8 miles over four days.

For recreational runners: the numbers prove running's inclusive power. Whether you're chasing world records or just showing up at parkrun, you're part of something extraordinary. Start where you are—Sara Cox didn't own running shoes before her challenge. Consistency matters more than speed.

A huge thank you to everyone who used my services in 2025. I can’t begin to tell you how much I love my work and the communities I interact with across the services I provide.

Along the way this year there has been some huge highs with regard to achievements and some huge lows with regard to loss. I have loved watching how the communities have supported those that need it regardless. Truly humbling.

You are all amazing humans.

Have a great Christmas.

Much love

So so pleased for Wendy.

7.25 kg down since we started her journey. Running, how she feels in herself day-to-day and importantly, mentally, everything is so much better.

That’s over a stone in old money which is just brilliant and she’s not done yet by any means.

Wendy has taken almost a year to complete her pack and she still has two sessions left in the new year. The work she has been doing, like all those who take up the challenge, is now normalised and the changes are embedded, whether they be nutrition or movement led.

There's been no calorie or macro counting, no logging food, no being told when and what to eat specifically. This is an achievable project and I'm both delighted for and grateful to all those that put their trust in themselves and me to deliver the outcomes they worked so hard for.

This could be you in 2026.

Head over to the shop at www.jrstt.co.uk/shop to see how I could potentially help you achieve a better experience in your own body.

The last block weekend of Breath Less 2025 kicked off this morning.

What a year it’s been.

So much learning and growth both physical and mental. Looking forward to wrapping it up Saturday and Sunday.

Well done all. So proud of you.

I’ve just released my Q1 diary for 2026. I know it’s hard to get in to see me but there’s lots of options as it stands today. They’ll go quickly so if you’re after regular slots, one offs or pack sessions they’re all there.

Merry Christmas and thank you for your continued support.

The JRSTT Narrative

Soft Tissue Therapy * Biomechanics * Imbalance Correction * Strength & Conditioning * Injury Rehab * Coach * Nutrition * Pitch-side Support * Kinesio Taping * Core Club My studies have covered all aspects of soft tissue techniques, anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, postural assessment, remedial massage, coaching and the management of clients in a client empowering environment. I treat clients who have musculoskeletal injury, pain or dysfunction caused by any of life’s stresses and from all walks of life. Although sport is a common factor with many my clients symptoms, it is far from being the only issue I deal with. Soft Tissue Therapy integrates three essential clinical elements: Assessment Applying a range of assessment methods to determine whether Soft Tissue Therapy is appropriate and devise a suitable treatment plan for the individual client. Treatment Applying a range of soft tissue techniques (including massage) to aid recovery from injury and improve soft tissue condition and joint mobility. Rehabilitation Offering advice on a range of remedial exercises and lifestyle factors aimed at speeding up recovery, preventing injury recurrence as well as improving posture, performance and function.

Core Club is all about movement. A developmental platform aimed at all abilities to enable people to build stronger more efficient bodies for life as well as creating advantages in sport. It is very different. I also have advanced Level 4 recognised taping capabilities and qualifications.

Always happy to talk things through if you'd like to get in touch.
