Get the insights you need to plan and grow your care services โ€“ free from DHSC

Want to understand local population needs and what services your local authority plans to commission?

Get Adult Social Care Data (GASCD) is a new, free digital service for CQC-registered care providers.

Developed with input from providers, it provides instant access to data and trends for your area, region, and across England. Among other things, use GASCD to: Compare your bed occupancy with local averages, explore disability prevalence by area, and see what services are in demand.

Look out for an email from DHSC on Tuesday 6 January (subject line: Get adult social care data with DHSCโ€™s free service). It will invite nominated individuals to register for early access from 28 January 2026. Later in the year, youโ€™ll be able to add team members too.
