Apprenticeship Opportunity – Seeking Local Providers

We are reaching out to local Ipswich businesses to explore apprenticeship opportunities for a motivated young female candidate who holds a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care.

The candidate is enthusiastic about gaining hands-on experience in the health and social care sector and eager to develop her skills further under the guidance of experienced professionals.

If your organisation can offer an apprenticeship or would like to learn more about supporting this aspiring apprentice, please get in touch. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a young person’s career journey while contributing to the local workforce.

If interested, please email: opportunities@caredevelopmenteast.co.uk

Our team had an incredible time on the Autism Virtual Reality Bus yesterday at Haverhill Community Care!

The staff have already shared how powerful, eye-opening and inspiring the session was. It offered a whole new perspective, and the team are excited to put their learning into practice across our services.

We even received this lovely message from one of the attendees:

“Hi Rhiannon,
Thank you for giving me such a wonderful opportunity to be part of the training yesterday. I got to learn and experience new things that will help me in upcoming days.
Thank you!”

A huge thank you to the Autism VR team for delivering such meaningful training — experiences like this truly strengthen our commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred care every day.

đź’šđź’ś Proud of our 1 Oak team for always wanting to learn and grow!

Volunteer Opportunity! 🌟

We’re supporting a motivated young man who’s keen to gain hands-on experience working with older people. He’s passionate about a future career in care, aiming to become either a Registered Manager in a children’s home or a Mental Health Nurse, and is ready to learn.

He’s available to volunteer on Tuesday or Friday mornings, and we’re looking for a friendly, supportive care setting that could welcome him.

If your organisation could offer him a place to grow, we’d love to hear from you: opportunities@caredevelopmenteast.co.uk

Let’s help him build confidence, develop skills, and make a real difference. 💙
