The story of our shop. When I first came to Barham care centre my first thought was to get to know the residents and what they would like, I decided to do a questionnaire to find out . Nearly all the residents said they would like an in house shop as that was one of the things they missed doing. So the story of our shop began. Next I found out what things the residents would like to buy from the shop and after a meeting with the residents my next step was to discuss it with Cathrine, the manager. Cathrine and I discussed the shop in a meeting ,we both agreed to do some research together and on our own . Cathrine found a shop with everything we needed and we decided it was the best choice. I took some pictures round to the residents who all agreed. OUR SHOP arrived on Wednesday. Today I have been speaking to the residents and asking them if they would like pictures of what we are selling on the shop they thought it was a great idea. This morning we have been decorating the shop with posters. OUR SHOP IS OPEN WEDNESDAYS AND SATURDAYS ITS OPEN FOR EVERYONE, RESIDENTS, STAFF AND VISITORS. OUR FIRST DAY OF OPENING WILL BE WEDNESDAY 16TH AUGUST.
