Safer Internet Day is a reminder that online harm is real - and so is support.
Online sexual violence includes grooming, harassment, image-based abuse and coercion.

If this has happened to you, it’s not your fault and you’re not alone.
Help is available.

As we conclude week, we acknowledge the importance of collective responsibility in preventing sexual violence and supporting those affected.

It has provided an important opportunity to reinforce a clear message: sexual violence is never okay.

Our service remains available to provide confidential support, information and advocacy - this week and throughout the year.

Week is a time to challenge myths, name harm and stand with those who have experienced sexual violence.

Sexual violence is never acceptable - in any context, in any relationship.

If you or someone you care about needs support, we’re here.

During week, we think it's important to make it clear just what consent is, and to explore the sexual violence pyramid.
It starts with the “little” things we’re told not to make a fuss about - blame, pressure, ignored boundaries - and those foundations make extreme violence possible.

There’s no harmless level of harm. Every act on that pyramid is wrong, and every one deserves to be taken seriously. And no matter what you experienced or how it’s been framed: it was never your fault.

People who have experienced sexual violence deserve more than a single door to knock on.
That’s why sexual assault services across Suffolk have pledged to work collaboratively - so that support is easier to find, pathways are clearer and no one is left without care.

For week, we’re shining a light on the sexual assault services who have pledged to work collaboratively to close gaps in the system and ensure everyone is met with support, dignity and respect.

We know that for many reasons, accessing support isn’t always easy.

Today we’re sharing more about our service and what happens when you reach out - including what the referral process looks like.

We hope this helps make things feel a little less overwhelming and supports you in deciding whether you’re ready to reach out to us.

During Week, we want to take the opportunity to highlight services local to Suffolk, helping people who have experienced sexual violence access the right support, at the right time.

Here’s a little bit about who we are, the service we provide, and how we can help.

02/02/2026

Today marks the beginning of Week, a time to come together and ensure that all voices are heard in the effort to prevent and address sexual abuse and sexual violence - and to reinforce the message that no one should have to face these experiences alone.

Local services across Suffolk have united to make a shared pledge: no one affected by sexual violence will ever be turned away or left without support. Our commitment is to ensure that help is available whenever someone reaches out.

We proudly join our Suffolk partners in committing to the No Wrong Door Pledge. Watch our video to see this commitment in action.

With sincere thanks to for creating this video.

Everyone carries a stress bucket, and sometimes trauma can make it feel like it’s overflowing.

A trauma-informed approach helps us recognise and support those experiences without judgement.

Trauma adds weight we can’t always see.
Your feelings are valid.
Your stress is real.
It’s okay to pour some out.

Cervical screening can be life-saving, but for many people who have experienced sexual violence, it can also be difficult or triggering.

During Cervical Cancer Prevention Week, we’re sharing our Survivor-focused Cervical Screening Toolkit - created to support choice, control and informed consent at every step.
