Hello Autumn?

Yesterday was LOVELY! It was cool, rainy and overcast, today the sun is back! Now normally I love the hot weather but these Postpartum Hot Flashes are really doing a number on me!

Anyone else experience the Postpartum Hot Flashes?

It’s a completely normal response to your fluctuating (and dropping) levels of oestrogen and increase in prolactin (if breast feeding) similar to menopausal symptoms many new mums experience them at night hence the well known night sweats, this is the first time (that I can remember!) getting them through the day though and it’s really annoying and inconvenient!!

Loose clothing
Using a Fan
Reducing Caffeine

Any more tips on how to cope greatly welcomed!

The Realities of Postpartum- crocs on, glasses on, running on minimal sleep and a baby strapped to me!

That being said we did make it out to the car boot sale and had a lovely morning!

What a week!

Little man turned one month old- where has that time gone!?
Finally got him registered and all official!
Plus juggling summer holidays has meant a cinema trip, country park visit, birthday party, play date and library visits!

Hello 🤍

Meet the newest member of my very own boy band! Sebastian graced us with his presence on 13th July at 01:16 and I can’t wait to share more about his birth, surprise surprise it was a different experience yet again!

It’s been a tough four weeks juggling the newborn bubble and the summer holidays for my other two babies but we’ve got dressed every day and have been venturing out so so far so good!

Looking forward to sharing more with you about my pregnancy and birth and navigating this new version of motherhood as a mother of three!
