Your business - Your body - Your story

https://lindamcclure.co I'm Linda McClure,

and my work is for the multi-passionate and un-niche-able business owners out there. I work mainly with Coaches, Nutritional Therapists, Holistic Practitioners, and Creatives. The beauty of this is that I understand your world because it is mine too. I have over 20 years of experience in these fields. I am a Bespo

ke Branding & Creative Web Designer and a Low Carb Nutrition Expert. For years, I tried to keep these worlds separate. I was told to pick a lane. I refused. It turns out, the magic is in the overlap. For Your Business:
I build digital homes for business owners who refuse to be ordinary. My process is part strategy, part design, part tech, and part storytelling. I don't just build websites; I find the story in your business and translate it into a brand that's undeniably you. Your story is as important as your qualifications. "Your Whole Life Is a Qualification"! For Your Body:
You can't build a business from a broken body. I help my clients get their health and energy back using Therapeutic Carbohydrate Restriction (TCR), Keto, and Carnivore protocols. I offer coaching packages for Business Owners and Professionals who feel like they have lost their way in health. Your body and brain need to be at full power for you to run your business. We can work on your health and your business together, or if you need help just with health, that is fine too. My entire philosophy is about cutting through the bullsh*t - In Health – In Business – In Life.

For almost four decades, I was a hairdresser.

And while I loved the craft, the part that truly mattered was making people feel better.
It was never just a haircut; it was about listening, understanding, and creating something that helped them shine.

Today, that core mission is the heartbeat of everything I do.

I'm a polymath – a web designer, brand strategist, and nutritional therapist. And I've found that my clients are too.

We're the multi-passionate, multi-talented people who refuse to be put in a single box.

My process is intuitive and person-centred.

I start with you, your vision, and your mission.

I listen deeply, and then I follow my intuition to translate your soul – in all its facets – into a tangible design, a clear message, or a supportive environment.

This is what I bring to every project:

The Eye of an Artist: I see the beauty and potential in your brand and bring it to life with intuitive, soulful design.

The Mind of a Strategist: I build websites that are not only beautiful but are also clear, functional, and effective.

The Heart of a Practitioner: I understand the world of health and wellness from the inside out, ensuring your message resonates deeply.

How I can help you:

Whether it's through web design for heart-centred businesses, brand strategy for visionary practitioners, or nutritional therapy for driven individuals ready to make a profound change, my goal is the same: to create things that help you feel better, do better, and make your corner of the world a better place.

If you believe your work (or your health) is an extension of your soul, we're already speaking the same language.

Let's connect.

I bloody love my work, well most of the time haha.

When I was in my first 10 years or so of hairdressing, probably longer, I used to get so nervous creating new colours and cuts.

Actually, to be really honest, I never truly stopped getting nervous with the creative side. I just got better at hiding it.

I do think, nerves keep you on your toes, and it always really meant something to me, more than just a hairdo. It was creating something that made people feel better.

That is the exact thing I have found these last few years in web design work and writing.

I used to have a vague kinda “I don’t know” attitude when someone asked what I would do with their hair. It never really happened until I started cutting and paid attention to the way it fell, or how colour took to it. That is why it is so often better the more you get to know someone.

I approach my design work in the same way.

It is all centred on the person or people I am creating for.

Their vision, their philosophies and their mission.

Once I know that and get to know them better and begin work, it kinda just starts to happen. I am not even sure how I do it. I just follow my intuition. Then it all just starts to click into place!

I've spent today deep in design mode for the new Active Health Group membership platform, and it's been one of those wonderfully creative and productive days.
I am as happy as a pig in sh*te lol.

Just finished working at 9.26pm, so I must be happy 😆

We're creating a unique online ecosystem for practitioners to connect, learn, and deepen their practice. It's been so rewarding to translate the amazing vision from the project brief into a real, tangible design. I was especially pleased to get the mobile view working, too, as I am building on a brand new platform that I have never used before.

So excited to be working on this and can't wait to share more with you all as it develops, and to have this absolutely amazing platform for Coaches, Nutritional Therapists, Trauma-informed work, and just sooo much more.

Excited beyond belief to not only be a Tutor for Active Health, but to be entrusted to build this. There is something really fricking special about being part of something that the ethos behind it all is making the world a better place.

Living my dreams and loving it!

Sharing this with a very proud heart today.

When I first began my studies with Active Health Group years ago, I had a list of different schools across the world to choose from. I knew what I was looking for, and I had narrowed it down to two or three.

Lucky for me, I reached out to Active Health to set up a call, and that was when I very first spoke to Richard Johnson, the founder of the Academy. We ended up talking for hours that day, as we had so much in common, between struggling with autoimmune health and just life in general. I was sold instantly, and I signed up that very day.

That was 5 years ago this month. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought back then that I would be saying now that I am so incredibly proud to be part of their team.
Although I did sit and say out loud to myself for about 10 months after graduating, “Give me a job, Richard, give me a job”, 😂and just over a year ago now, he did exactly that.

I am genuinely honoured to be part of the Active Health Group team, and if you have never heard of them before, let me tell you a little about why they are so special.

The breadth of knowledge and experience across our tutors is extraordinary. We are talking clinical anatomy, trauma-informed practice, breathwork, sports therapy, gut health, nutritional therapy, health coaching, lymphatic therapy, nervous system regulation, and so much more.

This is not your average further education. Every tutor brings real clinical depth, lived experience and genuine passion into everything they teach. Students don't just learn theory, they learn how to think, how to observe, and how to truly help the people in front of them.

Everyone really does care about what they do. It is more than just teaching, we are like a family, and that has been something I have felt the power of just lately, when I needed some personal support.
If you are considering a career in health and wellbeing, or you are already qualified and want to go deeper, there are lots of new things happening right now and so many plans for the future. Go follow Active Health Group to keep up-to-date with everything that is happening.

And even if you are not a potential learner, just come follow anyway, as there is always more being shared for the public too, on all things health and well-being.

Oh and there is a brand new course starting soon in Men's Health Coaching, which is soooo needed right now in the world.

So many exciting things are coming this year, and I am so freaking proud and excited to be a part of it.

“Your whole life is a qualification — even the difficult parts.”

Meet the Team – Linda McClure

At Active Health Group, we are proud to work with tutors whose journeys into health and wellbeing are shaped by real-life experience. Today, we are introducing Linda McClure, whose path into therapeutic nutrition has been built through both professional experience and personal transformation.

Linda’s career began in the world of hairdressing, where she spent 38 years working in salon management and ownership, travelling and working across Tenerife, Dubai and Guernsey before eventually returning home to Scotland. During those years, she developed a deep understanding of people — learning how to truly listen and recognise what was often left unsaid.

Her journey into holistic health began almost 20 years ago and led to a BA in Complementary Healthcare. However, her path into Nutritional Therapy was shaped during a personal health crisis in 2019, when she faced a serious autoimmune condition. Choosing to explore nutritional approaches, she discovered the powerful impact of food as a therapeutic tool — a turning point that changed the direction of her work.

Linda began studying Autoimmune Paleo (AIP) protocols and later discovered the profound benefits of ketogenic nutrition during her time as a student with Active Health Group. This became her specialist area, and today she focuses on Therapeutic Carbohydrate Restriction and Ketogenic Nutrition for metabolic health, gut health and autoimmune conditions.

She continues to expand her knowledge through advanced training in Ketogenic Science, Carnivore nutrition and Diabetes Reversal.

As a Tutor and Assessor at Active Health Group, Linda brings both scientific understanding and lived experience into her teaching. She is passionate about helping students understand patterns in health and supporting them to see the body as an interconnected system rather than isolated symptoms.

Alongside her clinical work, Linda also supports coaches, nutritionists and practitioners in developing their businesses, combining her earlier creative background in Art & Design with her knowledge of the digital world and holistic health practice.

Advice for someone starting out

"Your whole life is a qualification. All the pivots, challenges and experiences that may feel messy are often the very things that shape your authority. Don’t wait until you feel perfect to begin — your clients need a real person, not a perfect one. Your story is often the very thing that connects you to the people you are meant to serve."

Over the coming weeks, we will be introducing more of the wonderful people who make up the Active Health Group team, including both our tutors and the administrative team who support our students behind the scenes.

The tech is just... tech. It's neutral. It doesn't have an opinion about you. It doesn't know you studied for years to become the expert you are. It's just a tool waiting to be picked up.

What's actually stopping you is the story you're telling yourself about it. "I'm not technical." "It's too complicated." "What if I get it wrong?" That narrative is the real monster under the bed, not GoHighLevel, not WordPress, not any of it.

Here's what I know from working with business owners just like you: once someone takes the decision out of their hands and just handles it, the fear dissolves almost instantly. It was never about the technology.

So if you're a practitioner who has just finished your studies, or you're finally ready to stop putting your business presence off, I have a couple of spaces coming up in early March. But we don't have to wait until then. We can start right now with your Brand DNA, so by the time we build, we're building something that's actually you.

Stop letting the thought of tech cost you clients. It's not as big as it looks from the outside.

Drop me a message if you're ready to get started.
Or you can fill out my contact form and I will email you soon with a time for a call.

I've been working with one of my favourite clients today, creating elopement packages for an off-grid flower farm wedding venue.

I am so excited that I am part of this. Wish I lived in America so I could be there in person and be part of it all.

But to be part of the building and creation is what I love too.

This is the kind of work that reminds me why I do what I do. It truly lights me up and I am blessed to be a part of it all.

We're not building a generic wedding website. We're creating something that helps couples celebrate their love without going into debt.

Faith-centred ceremonies under a 200-year-old oak tree or in a glass greenhouse chapel. Miniature goats and Highland Coos in the photos.

Glamping under the stars.

The coos are why I wanna be there most 😆

And it is more than just a wedding. The beautiful couples get a workshop teaching them how to buy land and build their own legacy together. Their wedding day becomes the START of building their dream life, not just a single expensive day they'll spend years paying off.

That's the stuff that lights me up, creating something genuinely beautiful that serves real people with real values.

January felt like a long month, but jeezo Feb has taken off like a rocket, and I cannot believe we are at the 10th already.

A few projects on the go all at once, which keeps my creative juices flowing.

My diary is pretty full now through to mid-March.

If you are a passionate business owner who needs a rebrand, a new brand or a website, do not wait to get in touch.
We can start the ball rolling now and get you booked in for a project start date in March.
